Tauranga Taupo No. 2A.—Containing 5,000 acres, situated in the Tokaanu, Waitahanui, and Waiotaka Survey Districts, partly in the Auckland and partly in the Wellington Land District, being the whole of the land comprised in, and declared by, an order of the Native Land Court, made at Tapuaeharuru, Taupo, on the 24th day of September, 1887, to be the property of Her Majesty. [Deed No. 1813, Auckland, and 735, Wellington.]
Kaimanawa No. 1B.—Containing 28,700 acres, situated in the Taharua and Aripia Survey Districts, being the whole of the land comprised in, and declared by, an order of the Native Land Court, made at Tapuaeharuru, Taupo, on the 24th day of September, 1887, to be the property of Her Majesty. [Deed No. 670, Wellington.]
Okoheriki No. 1D, No. 1.—Containing 1,000 acres, situated in the Rotorua and Horohoro Survey Districts, being the whole of the land comprised in certificate of title, Vol. lxv., folio 184, of the Register-book of the Auckland District. [Deed No. 1799, Auckland.]
Papamoa No. 1.—Containing 7,910 acres, situated in the Tauranga, Tumu, and Maketu Survey Districts, being the whole of the land comprised in, and declared by, an order of the Native Land Court, made at Tauranga, on the 12th day of May, 1893, on partition of the land comprised in certificate of title, Vol. lix., folio 292, of the Register-book of the Auckland District, to be the property of Her Majesty. [Deed No. 1821, Auckland.]
Taumata No. 1A.—Containing 2,680 acres, situated in the Otanewainuku Survey District, being the whole of the land comprised in, and declared by, an order of the Native Land Court, made at Tauranga, on the 13th day of May, 1893, on partition of the land comprised in Crown grant, Vol. lxv., folio 172, of the Register-book of the Auckland District, to be the property of Her Majesty. [Deed No. 1823, Auckland.]
Taumata No. 2A.—Containing 1,948 acres, situated in the Otanewainuku Survey District, being the whole of the land comprised in, and declared by, an order of the Native Land Court made at Tauranga, on the 13th day of May, 1893, on partition of the land comprised in Crown grant, Vol. lxv., folio 173, of the Register-book of the Auckland District, to be the property of Her Majesty. [Deed No. 1822, Auckland.]
Taumata No. 3B West No. 1.—Containing 2,260 acres, situated in the Otanewainuku and Rotorua Survey Districts, being the whole of the land comprised in, and declared by, an order of the Native Land Court, made at Tauranga, on the 13th day of May, 1893, to be the property of Her Majesty. [Deed No. 1818, Auckland.]
Taumata No. 3c East A.—Containing 260 acres, situated in the Otanewainuku Survey District, being the whole of the land comprised in, and declared by, an Order of the Native Land Court, made at Tauranga, on the 13th day of May, 1893, to be the property of Her Majesty. [Deed No. 1819, Auckland.]
Taumata No. 3c West No. 1.—Containing 511 acres, situated in the Otanewainuku Survey District, being the whole of the land comprised in, and declared by, an order of the Native Land Court, made at Tauranga, on the 12th day of May, 1893, to be the property of Her Majesty. [Deed No. 1820, Auckland.]
Otawa Nos. 1A and 1B.—Containing together 4,200 acres, situated in the Tauranga, Otanewainuku, Te Tumu, and Maketu Survey Districts, being the whole of the land comprised in, and declared by, two several orders of the Native Land Court, made at Tauranga, on the 13th day of May, 1893, to be the property of Her Majesty, on partition of the land comprised in certificate of title, Vol. xliii., folio 203, of the Register-book of the Auckland District. [Deed No. 1824, Auckland.]
Ahuahu D.—Containing 3,756 acres, situated in the Taurakira Survey District, being the whole of the land comprised in, and declared by, an order of the Native Land Court, made at Wanganui, on the 15th day of May, 1890, to be the property of Her Majesty. [Deed No. 728, Wellington.]
Te Ngaue A.—Containing 1,597 acres 25 perches, situated in the Momahaki Survey District, being the whole of the land comprised in, and declared by, an order of the Native Land Court, made at Wanganui, on the 16th day of January, 1893, to be the property of Her Majesty. [Deed No. 733, Wellington.]
Te Ngaere.—Containing 7,500 acres, situated in the Ngaere Survey District, being the whole of the land comprised in a memorial of ownership issued by the Native Land Court, and entered in Vol. i., folio 16, of the Court-rolls of the Taranaki District. [Deed No. 226, Taranaki.]
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Right Honourable David, Earl of Glasgow; Knight Grand Cross of the Most Distinguished Order of Saint Michael and Saint George; Governor and Commander-in-Chief in and over Her Majesty's Colony of New Zealand and its Dependencies, and Vice-Admiral of the same; and issued under the Seal of the said Colony, at the Government House, at Christchurch, this thirtieth day of January, in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and ninety-four.

A PROCLAMATION.
WHEREAS the lands mentioned in the Schedule hereto are required to be taken, under “The Public Works Act, 1882,” and its amendments, for a certain work, to wit, the construction of roads in Bruce County:
And whereas the Bruce County Council has laid before the Governor the memorial, accompanied by maps, and also the statutory declaration required by the said Act and the amendments thereof:
Now, therefore, I, David, Earl of Glasgow, the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, in exercise and pursuance of the powers and authorities in me vested by “The Public Works Act, 1882,” and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in that behalf, do hereby proclaim and declare that, from and after the date of the publication hereof in the New Zealand Gazette, the lands mentioned in the Schedule hereto are hereby taken for the purposes of the construction of the said roads.
