Native Lands acquired by Her Majesty declared to be Crown Lands.

A PROCLAMATION.
WHEREAS by section two hundred and fifty of "The Land Act, 1892" (hereinafter termed "the said Act"), it is enacted that whenever the Governor is satisfied that any Native lands acquired by Her Majesty in any way, or purchased out of any sums authorised or to be authorised to be issued and expended in the purchase of lands in the North Island of New Zealand, are free from Native claims and all difficulties in connection therewith, he shall, by Proclamation, declare such lands to be Crown lands, subject to be sold and dealt with as in the said Act is more particularly mentioned: And whereas the lands hereinafter mentioned have been purchased out of sums so authorised to be issued and expended as aforesaid:
Now, therefore, I, David, Earl of Glasgow, the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, being satisfied that the lands enumerated in the Schedule hereto are free from Native claims and all difficulties in connection therewith, do hereby, in pursuance and exercise of the power and authority vested in me by the said Act, proclaim and declare the lands so enumerated as aforesaid to be Crown lands, subject to be sold and dealt with according to the provisions of the laws regulating the sale and disposal of Crown lands in force in the land districts in which they are respectively situated.
SCHEDULE.
Tapapakaroro.—Containing 93 acres, situated in the Harataunga Survey District, being the whole of the land comprised in Crown grant, Vol. ix., folio 157, of the Register-book of the Auckland District. [Deed No. 1796, Auckland.]
Motukahakaha.—Containing 524 acres, situated in the Harataunga Survey District, being the whole of the land comprised in Crown grant, Vol. ix., folio 155, of the Register-book of the Auckland District. [Deed No. 1816, Auckland.]
Otuturu No. 1.—Containing 653 acres, situated in the Hastings Survey District, being the whole of the land comprised in Crown grant, Vol. iii., folio 161, of the Register-book of the Auckland District. [Deed No. 1797, Auckland.]
Otuturu No. 2.—Containing 87 acres, situated in the Hastings Survey District, being the whole of the land comprised in Crown grant, Vol. lxv., folio 163, of the Register-book of the Auckland District. [Deed No. 1802, Auckland.]
Taparahi No. 2A.—Containing 984 acres, situated in the Thames Survey District, being the whole of the land com-
prised in certificate of title, Vol. lxv., folio 139, of the Register-book of the Auckland District. [Deed No. 1741, Auckland.]
Ohinemuri No. 20A.—Containing 1930 acres 3 roods 26 perches, situated in the Ohinemuri Survey District, being the whole of the land comprised in certificate of title, Vol. lxvi., folio 268, of the Register-book of the Auckland District. [Deed No. 1807, Auckland.]
Ohinemuri No. 20A No. 1.—Containing 2758 acres 1 rood 13 perches, situated in the Ohinemuri Survey District, being the whole of the land comprised in certificate of title No. 165 of the Native Land Court, Thames District, and declared, by an order of the said Court, made at Paeroa, Ohinemuri, on the 12th day of November, 1892, to be the property of Her Majesty. [Deed No. 1754, Auckland.]
Owharoa No. 4.—Containing 26 acres, situated in the Ohinemuri Survey District, being the whole of the land comprised in a memorial of ownership, issued by the Native Land Court, and entered in Vol. vii., folio 607, of the Court-rolls of the Hauraki District, and declared, by an order of the said Court, made at Paeroa, Ohinemuri, on the 12th day of November, 1892, to be the property of Her Majesty. [Deed No. 1767, Auckland.]
Section No. 14A, Block IX., Te Aroha Survey District.—Containing 52 acres 1 rood 10 perches, being the whole of the land comprised in certificate of title, Vol. lxvi., folio 2, of the Register-book of the Auckland District. [Deed No. 1803, Auckland.]
Part of Section No. 15, Block IX., Te Aroha Survey District.—Containing 46 acres, being the whole of the land comprised in certificate of title, Vol. lxviii., folio 204, of the Register-book of the Auckland District. [Deed No. 1815, Auckland.]
Oruanui South A.—Containing 20 acres, situated in the Tuhingamata Survey District, being the whole of the land comprised in Crown grant dated the 5th day of October, 1893, and recorded as No. 126036 in the Deeds Registration Office, Auckland. [Deed No. 1817, Auckland.]
Tahorakuri No. 3.—Containing 4,960 acres, situated in the Tatua Survey District, being the whole of the land comprised in, and declared by, an order of the Native Land Court, made at Tapuaeharuru, Taupo, on the 24th day of September, 1887, to be the property of Her Majesty. [Deed No. 1792, Auckland.]
Tahorakuri No. 4.—Containing 3,012 acres, situated in the Tatua Survey District, being the whole of the land comprised in, and declared by, an order of the Native Land Court, made at Tapuaeharuru, Taupo, on the 13th day of September, 1887, to be the property of Her Majesty. [Deed No. 1793, Auckland.]
ERRATUM.—In the Proclamation constituting the Waverley Local Land District, at page 133 of Gazette No. 7, of the 25th January, for "Local Land Office, Town Board Office, Waverley," in the second column of the Schedule, read "Local Land Office, Town Hall, Waverley."
