Open undulating land of medium quality, with no water in dry seasons; situated on main road, two miles from Black-stone Hill Post-office, and adjacent to the proposed Otago Central Railway. Valuations for fencing must be deposited with applications as follow: Section 67, £3 4s. 6d.; Section 68, £21 10s. 6d.; and Section 70, £9 2s.

Their altitude is 1,950ft., and they are situated on main road, close to Hill's Creek Township. Subdivisions of Pastoral Run 199, last licensed by Messrs. Cargill and Anderson. Section 2, open undulating land, soil good to inferior; might be converted into agricultural land with irrigation. Section 4, partly broken, soil dry, chiefly pastoral. Both sections are watered by Cave Creek. Their altitude varies from 900ft. to 1,000ft., and they are situated about seven miles and a half from Roxburgh.

All mixed-bush land, well watered except Section 7. Sections 5 and 7 are wholly pastoral, the remainder are partly agricultural and partly pastoral, with areas of from 40 to 150 acres in each fit for plough when cleared. Altitude from 100ft. to 1,400ft. Owaka lies, from nearest point, about seven miles distant by formed road.

All mixed-bush land, well watered; each section either fronts or is adjacent to a formed road; considerable areas might be ploughed after the land is cleared. The altitude of the country varies from 20ft. to 1,200ft. Distant from Owaka Township from ten miles upwards by formed road.
