Land temporarily reserved in the Land Districts of Auckland, Hawke’s Bay, Taranaki, Canterbury, Otago, and Southland.
GLASGOW, Governor.
WHEREAS by the two hundred and thirty-fifth section of “The Land Act, 1892,” it is enacted that the Governor may from time to time, either by general or particular description, and whether the same has been surveyed or not, reserve from sale temporarily, notwithstanding that the same may be then held under pastoral license, any Crown lands which in his opinion are required for any of the purposes in the said section mentioned:
Now, therefore, I, David, Earl of Glasgow, the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, in exercise and pursuance of the power and authority vested in me by the said Act, do hereby temporarily reserve from sale the land in the Land Districts of Auckland, Hawke’s Bay, Taranaki, Canterbury, Otago, and Southland enumerated in the first column of the Schedule hereto, for the purposes specified in the second column of the said Schedule, and opposite the descriptions of the lands so intended to be temporarily reserved.

CANTERBURY.
All that parcel of land in the Land District of Canterbury, containing by admeasurement 25 acres, more or less, being Section No. 458 (in red), Block XII., Kowai Survey District, and bounded as follows: On the north-east by a road-line, 1086·7 links; on the south-east by a road-line, 3820·8 links; on the north-west by Reserve 1797, 3618·4 links: be all the aforesaid linkages more or less; as the same is delineated on the plan deposited in the office of the Chief Surveyor, Christchurch. For plantation purposes.

Trustees for the Maintenance of the Porangahau Public Cemetery appointed.
GLASGOW, Governor.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the forty-fifth section of “The Cemeteries Act, 1882,” I, David, Earl of Glasgow, the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, do hereby appoint the local authority specified in the first column of the Schedule hereto to have the control and management of the public cemetery specified in the second column of the said Schedule.
