Land District.

A PROCLAMATION.
I N pursuance of the power and authority conferred upon
me by the one hundred and sixty-eighth section of "The
Land Act, 1892," I, David, Earl of Glasgow, the Governor of
the Colony of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare
that the allotments of Crown lands respectively described in
the Schedule hereto shall be and the same are hereby set
apart and declared open for lease as village settlements.

B Y virtue and in exercise of the powers and authorities
vested in me by the one hundred and seventy-second
section of "The Land Act, 1892," and of every other power
and authority enabling me in that behalf, I, David, Earl
of Glasgow, the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, do
hereby declare that the land mentioned in the Schedule
hereto shall be subject to the provisions of sections one
hundred and seventy-two to one hundred and eighty-six of
Part V. of "The Land Act, 1892," relating to small grazing-
runs.

Northern Part of Run 254b, Wendon Survey District,
Otago.

A PROCLAMATION.
B Y virtue and in exercise of the powers and authorities
vested in me by section two hundred of "The Mining Act,
1891" (hereinafter termed "the said Act"), and of all other
powers enabling me in this behalf, I, David, Earl of Glasgow,
the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, acting by and
with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the
said colony, do hereby proclaim and declare that all the pro-
visions of the said Act relating to mining districts and to
Wardens' Courts shall have operation within the land de-
scribed in the Schedule hereto.
SCHEDULE.
ALL that portion of Run 254b, Wendon Survey District, Land
District of Otago, included in a line commencing at the con-
fluence of the Garvie Burn (Muddy Creek) with the Waikaka
River, running due east to Pre-emptive-right Section 1,
Block VI., Wendon District; thence following the boundary
of the said section to the Waikaka Stream; thence following
the Waikaka Stream in a northerly direction (boundary of
run); thence on the north by the boundary of the said run;
thence on the north-west by the Waikaka River to the mouth
of the Garvie Burn, the starting-point, excepting from the
said area Section 1, Block V. (P.R.).

Grand Cross of the Most Distinguished Order of
Saint Michael and Saint George; Governor and
