A PROCLAMATION.
IN pursuance of the powers and authorities conferred upon
me by the 168th section of "The Land Act, 1892," I,
David, Earl of Glasgow, the Governor of the Colony of New
Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the allotments
of Crown lands respectively described in the Schedule hereto
shall be and the same are hereby set apart for sale as village
allotments, by auction, on Wednesday, the twenty-third day
of August, one thousand eight hundred and ninety-three.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government House, at Wellington, this fifteenth
day of June, 1893.
Present:
HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR IN COUNCIL.
IN pursuance of the powers and authorities vested in him
by "The Agricultural and Pastoral Societies Act, 1877,"
His Excellency the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand,
by and with the advice of the Executive Council of the said
colony, doth hereby incorporate the members of the North
Kaipara Agricultural Association, and such persons as shall
hereafter be admitted members of the said association agree-
ably to the rules of the said association and the provisions of
the said Act, into a body corporate under the said Act, under
the style and title of "The North Kaipara Agricultural Asso-
ciation."

Prescribing a Close Season for Oysters in Manukau and
Kaipara Harbours.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government House, at Wellington, this fifteenth
day of June, 1893.
Present:
HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR IN COUNCIL.
WHEREAS it is, amongst other things, enacted by sec-
tion 5 of "The Oyster Fisheries Act, 1892," that the
Governor in Council may from time to time make regulations
in respect of all or any species of oyster respectively, pre-
scribing, in respect of oysters in any place, a close season
over any term not exceeding three years, and, before the
expiration of such term, further extending the same:
And whereas it is desirable that a close season for oysters
in Manukau and Kaipara Harbours should be prescribed:
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor of the Colony
of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the herein-
before-recited power and authority, and of every other power
and authority in "The Oyster Fisheries Act, 1892," enabling
him in this behalf, and by and with the advice and consent
of the Executive Council of the said colony, doth hereby
make the following regulation, that is to say,—
REGULATION.
A close season for one year from the date of the publica-
tion hereof in the New Zealand Gazette is hereby prescribed
in respect of all species of oysters in Manukau and Kaipara
Harbours. For the purposes of this regulation Manukau
Harbour shall include all the bays, estuaries, tidal lands,
and tidal waters situated inside a straight line drawn from
the summit of Paratutu on the North Head to the lighthouse
on the South Head of such harbour; and Kaipara Harbour
shall include all the bays, estuaries, tidal lands, and tidal
waters inside a straight line drawn from the lighthouse on the
North Head to Pukitu on the south side of such harbour.

Terms and Conditions of Lease of Village Homesteads in
the Village Settlement of Patutahi, Hawke's Bay.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government House, at Wellington, this fifteenth day
of June, 1893.
Present:
HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR IN COUNCIL.
WHEREAS by the one hundred and sixty-ninth section
of "The Land Act, 1892," it is enacted that the
Governor in Council may fix the terms and conditions upon
which the lands in any village settlement shall be disposed
of, subject as in the said section is provided: And whereas
by a Proclamation made under the said Act on the fourteenth
day of June, one thousand eight hundred and ninety-three,
and published in the New Zealand Gazette on the twenty-
second day of June, one thousand eight hundred and ninety-
three, the lands described in the First Schedule hereto have
been set apart under the said Act and declared open for
lease as a village settlement, and it is expedient to fix the
terms and conditions upon which the said lands shall be
disposed of:
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor of the Colony
of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the powers
and authorities conferred by the said Act, and by and with
the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said
colony, doth hereby fix the terms and conditions on which
the lands mentioned in the First Schedule hereto shall be
disposed of by way of lease in perpetuity, and which said
terms and conditions are set forth in the Second Schedule
hereto, and also doth direct that the lands in the said
village settlement shall be divided into village-homestead
allotments only.
