Notice of the Laying-off of Roads over Lands in the
Taranaki Land District.

NOTICE is hereby given, by direction of His Excellency
the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, under
the authority of "The Native Land Court Act, 1886," and
its amendments, that the roads described in the Schedule
hereto were, in September, 1892, duly taken and laid off
through the lands specified in the said Schedule, under the
authority of the Governor of the said colony, by a warrant of
the date mentioned therein.

SCHEDULE.

All those parcels of land in the Land District of Taranaki,
containing by admeasurement in the aggregate 40 acres
2 roods, more or less, situate in the Ngaire and Omona Sur-
vey Districts, and being road-lines hereinafter described,
of a width of 100 links and upwards, traversing a portion of
the Tutaeariari Block, namely:—

A strip of land being portion of Mangamingi Road, con-
taining by admeasurement 32 acres 2 roods, more or less,
situate in the Ngaire and Omona Survey Districts, the
northern side of which commences on the traverse of
Mangamingi Road aforesaid at its junction with the north-
western boundary of Tutaeariari Block aforesaid, and thence
continues easterly generally for a distance of 13598·7 links
to Patea River ; as the same is delineated on Plan No. 647A,
deposited as hereinafter mentioned.

Date of Governor's warrant, 31st July, 1891.

A strip of land being portion of Omona Road, containing by
admeasurement 8 acres, more or less, situate in the Omona
Survey District, the eastern side of which commences on
the boundary between Mangamingi and Tutaeariari Blocks
at point marked C on Plan No. 647A, hereinafter mentioned,
and thence continues southerly generally for a distance of
5924·7 links to junction with the Mangamingi Road ; as the
same is delineated on Plan No. 647A, deposited as hereinafter
mentioned.

northerly generally for a distance of 21977·2 links to the
opposite angle-peg of road-peg No. lxx. on traverse of afore-

by admeasurement 21 acres 2 roods 9 perches, more or less,
the western side of which commences at the opposite angle-
peg of road-peg No. lxx. on traverse of aforesaid road,
and thence continues north-easterly generally for a distance
of 21629·1 links to the opposite angle-peg of road-peg
No. cxxxiii. on traverse of aforesaid road: as the same is
delineated on Plan No. 656B, deposited as hereinafter men-
tioned.

A strip of land being portion of Makahu Road, containing
by admeasurement 26 acres and 34 perches, more or less,
the south-eastern side of which commences at road-peg No.
cxxxiii. on traverse of road aforesaid, and thence continues
north-easterly generally for a distance of 26215·5 links to road-
peg No. ccxiii. on traverse of aforesaid road: as the same
is delineated on Plan No. 656c, deposited as hereinafter

A strip of land being portion of Makahu Road, containing
by admeasurement 16 acres and 2 perches, more or less,
the eastern side of which commences at road-peg No. ccxiii.,
and thence continues northerly generally for a distance of
16015·2 links to a peg on the boundary-line between Poho-
kura Block and Native land, and numbered ccxiii. on tra-
verse of aforesaid road: as the same is delineated on Plan
No. 656D, deposited as hereinafter mentioned.

Road taken and laid off in August, 1891.

A strip of land being portion of Mangarewa Road, contain-
ing by admeasurement 23 acres 1 rood 32 perches, more or
less, the northern and western side of which commences
on the southern boundary of Pohokura Block, at a point
marked A on plan No. 658A hereinafter mentioned, and dis-
tant 26485·8 links south-east of Kirai Trig. Station, and
thence continues easterly and northerly generally for a dis-
tance of 21146·9 links to the opposite angle-peg of road-
peg No. lxxxix. on traverse of aforesaid road: as the same
is delineated on Plan No. 658A, deposited as hereinafter men-
tioned.

Road taken and laid off in November, 1891.

A strip of land being portion of Mangarewa Road, con-
taining by admeasurement 14 acres and 13 perches, more or
less, the eastern side of which commences at road-peg No.
lxxxix. on traverse of aforesaid road, and thence con-
tinues northerly generally for a distance of 14081·3 links
to road-peg No. cxlvi. on traverse of road aforesaid: as the
same is delineated on Plan No. 658B, deposited as hereinafter
mentioned.

Road taken and laid off in September, 1891.

A strip of land being portion of Mangarewa Road, contain-
ing by admeasurement 14 acres and 14 perches, more or less,
the eastern side of which commences at road-peg No. cxlvi.
on traverse of aforesaid road, and thence continues northerly
generally for a distance of 13612·2 links to a point due east
of road-peg No. clxliii. on boundary between subdivisions 6
and 10 of Pohokura Block aforesaid, and on traverse of
aforesaid road: as the same is delineated on Plan No. 658c,
deposited as hereinafter mentioned.
