Notice of the Laying-off of the Waikanae-Hutt Road through Ngarara West Block, in the Wellington Land District.
NOTICE is hereby given, by direction of His Excellency the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, under the authority of "The Native Land Court Act, 1886," and its amendments, that the road described in the Schedule hereto was, in February, 1892, duly taken and laid off through the land specified in the said Schedule, under the authority of the Governor of the said colony, by a warrant of the 17th December, 1891.
SCHEDULE.
All that area in Blocks IX. and X., Kaitawa Survey District, containing by admeasurement 21 acres 1 rood 28 perches, more or less, being a road not less than 100 links in width, the centre-line of which commences at a point on the Mana-watu Railway-line, near the Waikanae Railway-station (marked A on the plan hereinafter referred to), distant, north, 29946.1 links, and, west, 40505.1 links, from Kapakapa-nui Trig. Station, and proceeds in a south-easterly direction through Subdivisions 41 and 23, Ngarara West C Block, to a point on the south-eastern boundary of the said Sub-division 23 where that boundary-line intersects the traverse-line between road-pegs xxxviii. and xxviii. (marked B on the plan hereinafter referred to): the same being more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W. 624, deposited in the District Land and Survey Office, Wellington.

Notice of the Laying-off of a Road over Lands in the Taranaki Land District.
NOTICE is hereby given, by direction of His Excellency the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, under the authority of "The Native Land Court Act, 1886," and its amendments, that the road described in the Schedule hereto was, in February, 1893, duly taken and laid off through the lands specified in the said Schedule, under the authority of the Governor of the said colony, by a warrant of the date mentioned therein.
SCHEDULE.
All that parcel of land in the Land District of Taranaki, containing by admeasurement 32 acres, more or less, situate in the Ngatimaru and Mahoe Survey Districts, and being portion of the Mangaehu Road, of a width of 100 links and upwards, traversing a portion of the Pahautuhia Block, the south-eastern side of which commences at a point on the Mangaehu River marked A on plan of said road numbered 653 as hereinafter mentioned, and thence continues northerly, easterly, and north-easterly generally for a distance of 21998.4 links to a point opposite road-peg No. cxviii. on traverse of aforesaid road, and marked B on plan of road above referred to: be the aforesaid linkage more or less; as the said parcel of land is delineated on the aforesaid Plan No. 653, deposited in the District Land and Survey Office, New Plymouth, in the Land District of Taranaki, and thereon coloured pink.

Notice of the Laying-off of Roads over Lands in the Taranaki Land District.
NOTICE is hereby given, by direction of His Excellency the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, under the authority of "The Native Land Court Act, 1886," and its amendments, that the roads described in the Schedule hereto have been duly taken and laid off through the lands specified in the said Schedule, under the authority of the Governor of the said colony, by a warrant dated the 31st July, 1891.
SCHEDULE.
All those parcels of land in the Land District of Taranaki, containing by admeasurement in the aggregate 192 acres 1 rood 16 perches, more or less, situate in the Omona Survey District, and being road-lines, hereinafter described, of a width of 100 links and upwards, traversing a portion of the Matemateaonga Block, namely:—
A strip of land being part of Matemateaonga Road, containing by admeasurement 48 acres 1 rood, more or less, the northern and eastern side of which commences at peg No. xxvi. on traverse of road aforesaid, on boundary between Matemateaonga Block aforesaid and Section No. 2, Block V.,
Omona Survey District, and thence continues southerly generally for a distance of 36717.9 links to peg No. clxviii. on traverse of aforesaid road, at point marked B on Plan No. 646 hereinafter mentioned: as the same is delineated on said Plan No. 646, deposited as hereinafter mentioned.
Road taken and laid off in June, 1892.
A strip of land being part of Matemateaonga Road, containing by admeasurement 21 acres 1 rood, more or less, the eastern and northern side of which commences opposite peg No. clxviii. on traverse of road aforesaid, at point marked A on Plan No. 647B hereinafter mentioned, and thence continues south-easterly generally for a distance of 16823.5 links to peg No. ccliv. on traverse of aforesaid road: as the same is delineated on Plan No. 647B, deposited as hereinafter mentioned.
Road taken and laid off in September, 1892.
A strip of land being part of Matemateaonga Road, containing by admeasurement 20 acres 1 rood, more or less, the northern and western side of which commences opposite peg No. ccliv. on traverse of road aforesaid, and thence continues north-easterly generally for a distance of 18695.8 links to a section-line about 60 links north of peg No. cccxvi. on traverse of aforesaid road: as the same is delineated on Plan No. 647D, deposited as hereinafter mentioned.
Road taken and laid off in January, 1893.
A strip of land being part of Matemateaonga Road, containing by admeasurement 13 acres 1 rood, more or less, the southern side of which commences opposite peg No. cccxvii., and thence continues easterly generally for a distance of 12480.0 links to opposite angle-peg of peg No. cccxxxv. on traverse of aforesaid road: as the same is delineated on Plan No. 647F, deposited as hereinafter mentioned.
Road taken and laid off in March, 1893.
A strip of land being part of Matemateaonga Road, containing by admeasurement 26 acres, more or less, the southern side of which commences at opposite angle-peg of peg No. cccxxxv. on traverse of road aforesaid, and thence continues north-easterly generally for a distance of 18721.7 links to the Raitangiwhenua Block near peg No. dlvi. on traverse of road aforesaid: as the same is delineated on Plan No. 647E, deposited as hereinafter mentioned.
Road taken and laid off in March, 1893.
A strip of land being part of Makino Road, containing by admeasurement 23 acres and 16 perches, more or less, the south-eastern side of which commences at peg No. ccliv. on the traverse of the Matemateaonga Road, and thence continues south-westerly generally for a distance of 9274.9 links to a point bearing 79° 39′ 50″ from point marked D on plan No. 647B hereinafter mentioned: as the same is delineated on Plan No. 647B, deposited as hereinafter mentioned.
Road taken and laid off in September, 1892.
Those strips of land being parts of Makino Road, comprising by admeasurement 16 acres 1 rood, more or less, and defined as follows: that part of Makino Road the eastern side of which commences at a point marked B on plan of the traverse of aforesaid road on the left bank of Patea River, and proceeds generally in a northerly direction for a distance of 4451.7 links to a section-line as shown on Plan No. 647C hereinafter mentioned; also that part of Makino Road the southern side of which commences at a point marked A on plan of the traverse of aforesaid road, and proceeds in a westerly direction for a distance of 7796.0 links to its intersection by a section-line, as shown on Plan No. 647C hereinafter mentioned; also that part of Makino Road the southern side of which commences on a section-line at a point bearing 79° 39′ 50″ from point marked A on Plan No. 647C hereinafter mentioned, and extends in an easterly direction for a distance of 594.8 links: as the same are shown on Plan No. 647C, deposited as hereinafter mentioned.

A strip of land being part of Mangamingi Road, containing by admeasurement 16 acres 2 roods, more or less, the south-western side of which commences on the Patea River, at a point south-west of the southern end of a traverse-line 86.4 links long, and bearing 145° 57′, shown on Plan No. 647B hereinafter mentioned, and proceeds southerly and easterly for a distance of 4368.6 links to the Matemateaonga Road, and including a peninsula on the left bank of the Patea River, containing about 10½ acres, lying to the north of the traverse-line before mentioned: as the same is delineated on Plan No. 647B, deposited as hereinafter mentioned.
