SPECIAL ORDER made on the 27th April, and confirmed on
the 26th May, 1893.
RESOLVED, That the boundaries of the Incholme Riding be
altered, and that they be as follows: Bounded towards the
south by the Otepopo Riding; towards the south-west by the
Waihemo County; towards the north-west and north by the
Otekaike and Awamoko Ridings as far as Block III., Kauroo
District; towards the east and south by Block III., Kauroo,
as far as the Kakanui River; thence by the Kakanui River.
Resolved, That the boundaries of the Waiareka Riding be
altered, and that they be as follows: Bounded on the west by
Awamoko Riding; towards the north by the Awamoko and
Papakaio Ridings; towards the east by the Papakaio Riding
and the Town of Oamaru; towards the south by the Kaka-
nui Riding; and towards the west by the Incholme Riding.
I hereby certify that the above special order was duly
made.

Council, is published in accordance with the pro-
visions of "The Counties Act, 1886."

SPECIAL ORDER.
RESOLVED, That the boundaries of the Waipahi and Glen-
kenich Ridings (as described in the special order confirmed
on the 28th April, 1893) be altered as follows:—
Waipahi Riding.—Bounded towards the north generally
by parts of Blocks V. and VI., Glenkenich District, and by
the centre of a road-line intersecting Blocks IX. and X., and
Sections Nos. 3 and 4, Block XVI., all of aforesaid district,
to a point in the middle of the Pomahaka River; thence
bounded towards the east and north-east generally by the
middle of the said river to its confluence with the Wairuna
Stream; thence again towards the east generally by the said
stream to the northern boundary-line of Block III., Waipahi
Survey District; thence bounded on the south by said Block
III.; thence bounded on the east by the eastern boundary-
line of part of Blocks VII. and VI., said district, to a road-
line; thence bounded towards the south-west and south-east
generally by the centre of the said road-line to the eastern
boundary-line of Waikaka Survey District; thence bounded
on the west by the said Waikaka Survey District to its
northern boundary-line; thence bounded on the south by
the said Waikaka Survey District to the eastern boundary-
line of the Chatton Survey District; and thence bounded
again on the west by part of the said eastern boundary of
said Chatton Survey District to the place of commence-
ment.
Glenkenich Riding.—Bounded towards the north-east and
east generally by a line along the middle of Pomahaka River
from its confluence with the Leithen River to the centre of
a road-line where it crosses the Pomahaka River, near the
southern corner of Section No. 12, Block XI., Glenkenich
District; thence bounded towards the south generally by
the centre of the said road intersecting Sections Nos. 3 and 4,
Block XVI., and intersecting Blocks X. and IX., to the
northern boundary-line of said Block IX., thence by part of
said Block IX., all of aforesaid district; thence bounded on
the west by the eastern boundary-line of Chatton Survey
District, and by that line produced to the middle of the
Leithen River; and thence bounded again towards the
north-east and east generally by a line along the middle of
the said Leithen River to its confluence with the Pomahaka
River, to the place of commencement.
Such special order to come into full force only at the
general election of the Council in November, 1893, except so
far and to such extent as may be necessary for preparing
any roll or otherwise providing for such election.
I hereby certify that the foregoing special order was duly
made by the Clutha County Council on Friday, the 9th day
of June, 1893, as required by "The Counties Act, 1886."

Upper Wangaehu Road Board, is published in accord-
ance with the provisions of "The Local Bodies' Loans Act,
1886."

WANGAEHU ROAD BOARD.
RESULT of poll on proposal to borrow £1,000 for the con-
struction of the Upper Wangaehu Valley Road, in the Upper
Wangaehu Road District; poll taken, 3rd June, 1893:—
Total number of ratepayers on roll, 14, representing 18
votes; votes recorded for proposal, 12; number of ratepayers
voting for the proposal, 11; number of ratepayers voting
against the proposal, nil; informal, nil; votes not recorded,
6; total of votes against, 6.
As a majority in number of the ratepayers voted in favour
of the proposal, and the number so voting are entitled to
more than one-half of the votes which can be exercised by
the whole number of ratepayers, I do hereby declare the
proposal to be carried.

Notice of the Laying-off of a Road over Land in the
Auckland Land District.
NOTICE is hereby given, by direction of His Excellency
the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, under
the authority of "The Native Land Court Act, 1886," and its
amendments, that the road described in the Schedule hereto
was duly taken and laid off through the land specified
in the said Schedule, on the 20th January, 1893, under the
authority of the Governor of the said colony, by a warrant
dated the 17th November, 1892.
SCHEDULE.
ALL that parcel of land in the Auckland Land District
containing by admeasurement 8 acres 2 roods, more or less,
situate in the Hukatere Survey District, being a road 100
links wide and upwards, traversing portion of the Hukatere
B Block, No. 596B, the western side of which commences at
the easternmost corner of Section No. 3, Block VI., Hukatere
Survey District, and proceeds south-easterly, south-westerly,
and north-westerly for a distance of 8015·1 links, more or
less, to the south-eastern corner of Section No. 3 aforesaid:
as the same is delineated on Plan No. 6666, deposited in the
District Land and Survey Office, Auckland, and thereon
coloured pink.

NOTICE is hereby given, by direction of His Excellency
the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, under
the authority of "The Native Land Court Act, 1886," and
its amendments, that the road described in the Schedule
hereto was, on the 6th June, 1890, duly taken and laid off
through the land specified in the said Schedule, under the
authority of the Governor of the said colony, by a warrant
of the date mentioned therein.
SCHEDULE.
ALL that parcel of land in the Auckland Land District, con-
taining by admeasurement 5 acres 3 roods 33 perches, more
or less, situate in the Kumeu Survey District, being a road-
line, 100 links or more wide, traversing the eastern portions
of the Ruarangi Haerere Nos. 1 and 2 Blocks (Nos. 848 and
848A respectively), the north-eastern side of which com-
mences at a point on the north-western boundary of the
Ruarangi Haerere No. 1 Block, being the place of inter-
section of the same by the south-western side of the Kaipara
Railway Reserve, and proceeds south-easterly generally
along that boundary of the railway reserve aforesaid for a
distance of 5938 links, more or less, to its intersection by the
south-eastern boundary of the Ruarangi Haerere No. 2
Block: as the same is delineated on Map No. 5925, deposited
in the District Office of the Lands and Survey Department,
at Auckland, in the Auckland Land District, and thereon
coloured burnt sienna.
