Trustees of Invercargill Volunteer Drill-shed Reserve ap-
pointed.

HIS Excellency the Governor has been pleased to appoint
the under-mentioned gentlemen to be the Trustees,
for the purposes of "The Volunteer Drill-sheds and Lands
Act, 1888," and "The Volunteer Drill-sheds and Lands
Trustees Validation Act, 1890," of all that parcel of land
known as the Invercargill Volunteer Drill-shed Reserve, and
being all the land included in certificate of title registered
in Register-book, Vol. xxvi., folio 98, of the Lands Registry
Office at Invercargill; and in the instrument of appointment
His Excellency has declared that the name by or under
which such Trustees shall be incorporated shall be "The
Trustees of the Invercargill Drill-shed Reserve," and that
such Trustees shall take office from the date thereof, being
the 8th day of June, 1893 :-

THE following special order, made by the Manganui
Road Board, is published in accordance with the pro-
visions of "The Road Boards Act, 1882."

MANGANUI ROAD BOARD.
Notice is hereby given that the following special order was
made on Saturday, the 29th April, 1893, and confirmed on
Saturday, the 3rd June, 1893 :-
That, to secure the repayment of a loan of Β£1,000, raised
under "The Government Loans to Local Bodies Act, 1886,"
for the purpose of forming the Stanley Road from the Croy-
don Road eastwards, a special rate of 4Β½d. in the pound be
made and levied over the following lands, viz. : Sections 16,
17, 18, 19, 20, 21, 22, 23, 24, Block XIV. ; Sections 7, 10, 11,
12, 13, 15, Block XI., Huiroa Survey District. Such rate to
be an annually-recurring rate for twenty-six years, and shall
be payable in two half-yearly instalments, on the first of
January and the 1st of July, in each year.
I hereby certify the above special order was duly made in
accordance with "The Roads Boards Act, 1882."
