boundary of the Wangaehu Riding to the north-east boundary
of the Porewa Riding, thence along the north-east boundary
of said riding to the Rangitikei River, thence along the
Rangitikei River to starting-point.

  1. Paraekaretu Riding.

Starting at the south-west corner of Section 16, Block
VIII., Wangaehu Survey District, thence along the south-
east boundary of Section 128 to its north-east corner, thence
along the eastern boundary of Section 11 to the Maungahoe
Road, thence along the Maungahoe Road to the Ongo Road,
thence along the Ongo Road to Bruce Street in Hunterville
Township, thence along the said street to Milne Street,
thence along said street to the Marton-Hunterville Road,

tion 36, Block VI., Ongo Survey District, thence along the

along the north-east boundary of the said section to the
south-east corner of Section 95, thence along the eastern
boundary of the said section to the Turakina River, thence
along the said river to the northern county boundary, thence
along the northern county boundary to its north-west corner,
thence along the western county boundary to the northern
boundary of the Wangaehu Riding, thence along the said

  1. Otairi Riding.

Starting at the south-east corner of Section 262, Hunter-
ville Township, thence along the Porewa Road to the Muri-
motu Road, thence along the Murimotu Road to the northern
county boundary, thence along the said boundary to the
eastern boundary of the Maungahoe Riding, thence along
the said boundary to the northern boundary of the Paraekaretu Riding, thence along the said boundary to the start-
ing-point.

  1. Ohingaiti Riding.

Starting at the south-east corner of Section 3, Block VI.,
Ongo Survey District, thence along the Rangitikei River to
the Kawhataou Stream, thence along the said stream to the
eastern boundary of the county, thence along the eastern
and northern boundaries of the county to the north-east
corner of the Otairi Riding, thence along the eastern bound-
ary of the Otairi Riding to the north-east boundary of the
Paraekaretu Riding, thence along the said boundary to
starting-point.

the Waimata Road District, and constituting the Wai-
mata and Pouawa Road Districts.

THE following special order, made by the Cook County
Council, is published in accordance with the pro-
visions of "The Counties Act, 1886."

SPECIAL ORDER made by the Cook County Council on
the 19th December, 1892, and confirmed at a subse-
quent meeting held on the 3rd February, 1893.

RESOLVED, That the present Waimata Road District be
abolished, and that two new road districts be constituted,
the first to be known as the Waimata Road District, as de-
fined in Schedule No. 1 hereto attached, and the second to be
known as the Pouawa Road District, as defined in Schedule
No. 2 hereto attached.

It is further ordered that upon the gazetting of this
order the Board of the Waimata Road District shall be
dissolved.

The common seal of the Chairman, Councillors, and in-
habitants of the County of Cook was hereto attached in the
presence of

I certify that the foregoing Special Order and the accom-
panying Schedules have been made according to law, and
that all the provisions of "The Road Boards Act, 1882,"

All that area in Cook County, in the Land District of
Hawke's Bay, bounded towards the north by Run 44A and
Run 43; towards the east generally by Section No. 1, Block
XVI., Waingaromia Survey District, Section No. 1, Block
XIII., Uawa District, Sections Nos. 2 and 1, Block I.,
Whangara Survey District, to a point known as Kereru
Kaipo; thence by the Whangara Block to Trig. Station
No. 153; thence towards the south and south-east generally
by the Umu-o-Waiti and Umu-o-Waiti No. 2 Blocks to the
Mangamangaoranga Stream; thence by that stream to Sec-
tion No. 5, Block VII., Waimata Survey District; thence by
the Pukeakura Block and Section No. 1, Makakaha Block,
to the Pahi Stream; thence by that stream and the Wai-
mata River to the northernmost angle of Section No. 8,
Whataupoko Block; thence by the western boundaries of
that section and Sections Nos. 31, 30, and 33, to Section
No. 12 of the Whataupoko Block; thence by the northern
boundary of Section No. 12, and the northern and western
boundaries of the Matokitoki Block, and the northern
boundary of Hapara No. 3 Block and the Pou-o-turanga
Block, to the Taruheru River; thence towards the west
generally by the aforesaid river, the Mutunga Block, the
Ngakoroa Block, the Papakorokoro Block, and the Waihora
No. 2 Block to the south-west corner of Run 44A, the point
of commencement.

Schedule No. 2.โ€”Pouawa Road District.

All that area in Cook County, in the Land District of
Hawke's Bay, bounded towards the north by the Manga-
mangaorangi Stream, the southern boundaries of Section
