Special Order made by the Moa Road Board, County of Taranaki.

THE following special order, made by the Moa Road Board, is published in accordance with the provisions of "The Road Boards Act, 1882."

SPECIAL ORDER made by the Moa Road Board on the 29th March, 1893, and confirmed on the 3rd May, 1893.
THAT to secure the repayment of a loan of £250 raised under "The Government Loans to Local Bodies Act, 1886," for the purpose of forming and metalling the Windsor Road, a special rate of 1½d. be made and levied over the Windsor Special Rating District, comprising the following lands: viz., Sections Nos. 106, 107, 108, 109, 110, 118, 119, 120, 121, 122, Moa Block.
Such rate to be an annually-recurring rate for twenty-six years, and to be payable in two half-yearly instalments, on the 1st January and 1st July in each year.
I hereby certify that the above special order has been passed by the Moa Road Board, in accordance with the provisions of "The Road Boards Act, 1882."

SPECIAL ORDER OF THE MAKARA ROAD BOARD.
Know all men by these presents that, at a special meeting of the Makara Road Board, duly convened and held on the 4th day of March, 1893, the following resolution was passed, that is to say:—
"That the provisions of 'The Local Bodies' Loans Act, 1886,' be adopted by the Makara Road Board, and that the same shall be in force therein on the confirmation of this resolution by a meeting of this Board to be duly convened and held in that behalf."
And that, at a meeting of the said Board duly convened and held on the 8th day of April, 1893, for the purpose of confirming the said resolution, the same was confirmed.
In witness whereof the seal of the Board has been hereunto affixed this 17th day of April, 1893.

THE following special order, made by the Pohangina Road Board, is published in accordance with the provisions of "The Road Boards Act, 1882."

SPECIAL ORDER.
THAT a special rate of 3½d. in the pound be hereby made over the whole of the value of the rateable property (Crown and Native lands excepted) within No. 2 Ward of the Pohangina Road District, for the purpose of providing interest on a loan of £5,492, to be borrowed under "The Government Loans to Local Bodies Act, 1886."
Such rate to be annually-recurring for twenty-six years, and to be payable at the office of the Board, at Feilding, in half-yearly instalments, on the first days of January and July in each year.
I hereby certify that the foregoing special order has been duly made by the Pohangina Road Board, at a meeting held on Saturday, the 13th May, 1893, as required by "The Road Boards Act, 1882," and amendments thereof.

Special Order made by the Rangitikei County Council, altering Ridings.

THE following special order, made by the Rangitikei County Council, is published in accordance with the provisions of "The Counties Act, 1886."

RANGITIKEI COUNTY COUNCIL.—NOTICE.
In the matter of "The Counties Act, 1886," and in the matter of a resolution to alter the number, names, and boundaries of the ridings in the County of Rangitikei, for the purpose of adjustment of representation in the Rangitikei County Council.
At a special meeting of the Rangitikei County Council, held at the Council Chambers, Marton, on Thursday, the 2nd day of March instant, to consider if the representation of the ridings of the Rangitikei County required readjustment, the following resolution was adopted: "That, in order to make the representation of the separate ridings as far as possible proportionate to the rateable value and number of ratepayers of each riding, the alterations of the numbers of ridings within the county, and the boundaries thereof, particularly specified in the Schedule hereinafter written, and as shown on a plan deposited in the office of the Rangitikei County Council, should be made; and a special order embodying the foregoing resolution should be made, and should come into full force on the second Wednesday in the month of November now next, but that such order should come into force on the making thereof in so far and to such an extent as should be necessary for preparing any roll or otherwise providing for the election of Councillors, one Councillor to be elected for each riding."
It is hereby notified that a special meeting of the Rangitikei County Council will be held on Thursday, the 4th day of May, 1893, at the Council Chambers, Marton, to confirm the foregoing resolution, and that a copy of the proposed special order is deposited at the office of the Rangitikei County Council, High Street, Marton, and that the same is open to the inspection of the public during office-hours.

Starting at the south-west corner of Section 40, Block II., Rangitoto Survey District, thence along Williamson's Road to the Bonnie Glen Road, thence along the Bonnie Glen Road to the western boundary of Section 23, thence along the western boundary of Sections 23, 22, 63, 69, 70, and 194 to the south-east corner of Section 62, thence along the southern boundary of Sections 62, 63, and Section part 54 to the Turakina River, thence along the Turakina River to the north-west corner of Section 39, thence in a straight line to the southern point of the Wangaehu Island in the Wangaehu River, thence along the Wangaehu River to the ocean, thence along the ocean to the boundary of the Rangitoto Riding, thence along the north-west boundary of the said riding to the starting-point.
