The first general meeting of the creditors will be held at my office, Old Government Buildings, Christchurch, on Wednesday, the 26th day of April, 1893, at 11 o’clock in the forenoon.

Land Transfer Act Notices.

APPLICATION having been made to me to register certain dealings affecting part of Allotments 1 and 2 of subdivision of Allotments 13 and 14, Section 3, Suburbs of Auckland, being the land described in certificate of title, Vol. xxx., folio 115, of the Register-book at Auckland, and a statutory declaration of the loss of the said certificate of title having been lodged with me, I hereby give notice that I will register such dealings, and dispense with the production of the said certificate of title, under section 38 of “The Land Transfer Act, 1885,” unless caveat forbidding the same be lodged at this office on or before the 28th instant.

CARBINE GOLD-MINING COMPANY (LIMITED).

THE following special resolution was passed at an extraordinary general meeting of the shareholders, held at the company’s office, New Zealand Insurance Buildings, Auckland, on Friday, the 24th day of March, 1893:—

Resolved, “That the Carbine Gold-mining Company (Limited) be voluntarily wound up; and that Mr. D. G. MacDonnell be appointed Liquidator.”

In the matter of “The Mining Companies Act, 1886,” and of the Croesus Consolidated Quartz-mining Company (Limited).

I HEREBY give notice that, with a view to an ad interim distribution of assets, I have prepared a schedule showing the realised amount of assets, including the contributions up to date, and the liabilities of the company, the amount of moneys at present available for the claims in the matter of the winding-up, and the proposed plan of distribution thereof.

The said schedule is now open in my office, 101, Princes Street, Dunedin, for inspection by the contributories to and the creditors of the company; and after the lapse of twenty-one days from the publication of this notice, and upon the Court or a Judge so authorising, the preferential claims mentioned in the said schedule will be paid in full, and an ad interim dividend will be paid on all other claims mentioned therein.

The preparation of the said schedule and this notice are without prejudice to the settling of a second list of contributories, and an order for further contributions.
