Manager of the Auckland Girls’ Industrial School, is appointed Manager of the Auckland Industrial School.
Also, that the offices of the Auckland Industrial School are removed from Kohimarama to the Auckland Girls’ Industrial School, at Beach House, in St. George’s Bay Road, Parnell; and that the buildings and premises at Kohimarama will no longer be used for industrial-school purposes.

THE following copy of an Order of Her Majesty the Queen in Council, under “The Colonial Probates Act, 1892,” is published for general information.

THE QUEEN’S MOST EXCELLENT MAJESTY,
LORD PRESIDENT, VISCOUNT OXENBRIDGE, CHANCELLOR OF THE EXCHEQUER, MR. LEFEVRE, MR. DENMAN.
WHEREAS by the first section of “The Colonial Probates Act, 1892,” it is enacted as follows: “Her Majesty the Queen may, on being satisfied that the Legislature of any British possession has made adequate provision for the recognition in that possession of probates and letters of administration granted by the Courts of the United Kingdom, direct by Order in Council that this Act shall, subject to any exceptions and modifications specified in the order, apply to that possession, and thereupon, while the order is in force, this Act shall apply accordingly:”
And whereas Her Majesty is satisfied that the Legislatures of the British possessions hereinafter mentioned have made adequate provision for the recognition in those possessions of probates and letters of administration granted by the Courts of the United Kingdom:
Now, therefore, Her Majesty, by virtue and in exercise of the powers by the above-recited Act in Her Majesty vested, is pleased, by and with the advice of Her Most Honourable Privy Council, to order, and it is hereby ordered, as follows:—
“The Colonial Probates Act, 1892,” shall apply to the British possessions hereunder mentioned:—
Cape of Good Hope, New South Wales, Victoria, New Zealand, Gibraltar, British Honduras.
And the Most Honourable the Marquis of Ripon, Her Majesty’s Principal Secretary of State for the Colonies, is to give the necessary directions herein accordingly.

THE following special orders, made by the Wirokino Road Board, are published in accordance with “The Road Boards Act, 1882.”

SPECIAL ORDER passed at a Meeting of the Wirokino Road Board, held on the 25th day of March, 1893, at the Road Board Office, Levin.
PROPOSED by Mr. Wallace, seconded by Mr. Miller, That the resolution passed at last meeting of this Board, proposing, by special order, to strike a special rate of five-thirteenths of a penny in the pound on the rateable value of the township and suburban sections (including the unsurveyed portion) of Shannon Township, for the purpose of paying interest and annual charges on the loan of £500 for making Shannon Ferry Road; such rate to be an annually-recurring rate for twenty-six years, and payable in one sum on 1st July in each year, be now confirmed.
I hereby certify that the above is a true copy of the special order that it purports to be, and that the same was duly passed according to law.

SPECIAL ORDER passed at a Meeting of the Wirokino Road Board, held on the 25th day of March, 1893, at the Road Board Office, Levin.
PROPOSED by Mr. Wallace, seconded by Mr. Miller, That the resolution passed at last meeting of this Board, proposing, by special order, to strike a special rate of thirty-nine-fourteenths of a penny in the pound, to provide for interest and other annual charges on the loan of £1,200, Buckley Road Special District, on the rateable value of Sections 10, 13, 12, 11, 9, 17, and 6, Block XV., Mount Robinson Survey District, and Section 6, Block III., Wai-o-pehu Survey District; such special rate to be an annually-recurring rate for twenty-six years, and to be payable in one instalment on the 1st July in each year, be now confirmed.
I hereby certify that the above is a true copy of the special order that it purports to be, and that the same was duly passed according to law.
