SIR,—I am directed by the Secretary of State to inform you that he has received a note from the Swedish Minister at this Court notifying the resignation of Mr. F. E. Wright, the Consul for Sweden and Norway at Christchurch, New Zealand, and the suppression of that consulate, the district of which will in future be included in the consulate at Wellington.
