Now, therefore, I, William Hillier, Earl of Onslow, the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the power and authority vested in me by the said Act, do hereby cancel the previous description of Reserve two thousand nine hundred and six, Canterbury Land District, and issue the amended description in the Schedule hereunder written.

SCHEDULE.

ALL that parcel of land containing by admeasurement 20 acres, more or less, being Reserve No. 2906 (in red), Block XI., on the map of the Hawkins Survey District. Bounded towards the north-west by Section No. 22912; towards the north-east by a road reserved along the Waimakariri River; towards the south-east by Section No. 26422; and towards the south-west by Section No. 3635: as the same is more particularly delineated on the map deposited in the Survey Office, Christchurch. For water-race purposes.

As witness the hand of His Excellency the Governor, this sixteenth day of January, one thousand eight hundred and ninety-two.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the sixth section of “The Cemeteries Act, 1882,” I, William Hillier, Earl of Onslow, the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, do hereby appoint

to be a Trustee, in the place of the Reverend H. M. B. Marshall, resigned, to provide for the maintenance and care of the Kaikoura Suburban Cemetery, in conjunction with the other persons appointed by warrant under the hand of His Excellency the Governor on the twentieth day of January, one thousand eight hundred and eighty-one.

Postmaster appointed to take and receive Statutory Declarations.

PURSUANT to the authority conferred upon me by the eighth section of “The Justices of the Peace Act Amendment Act, 1888,” I, William Hillier, Earl of Onslow, the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, do hereby notify and declare that

THOMAS LUMSDEN MILLAR,

being a person holding the office of Postmaster under “The Post Office Act, 1881,” at Rawene, is authorised to take and receive statutory declarations under the two hundred and thirty-fourth section of “The Justices of the Peace Act, 1882.”

As witness my hand, at Queenstown, in the colony aforesaid, this nineteenth day of January, one thousand eight hundred and ninety-two.
