hereby declare that the land mentioned in the Schedule
hereto shall be subject to the provisions of sections one
hundred and seventy-three to one hundred and eighty-six of
Part V. of “The Land Act, 1892,” relating to small grazing-
runs.
SCHEDULE.
BAY OF ISLANDS COUNTY.—SMALL GRAZING-RUN No. 16.
ALL that parcel of land in the Auckland Land District,
situate in Blocks VIII. and XII., Russell Survey District,
and Block II., Whangaruru Survey District, containing by
admeasurement 2,188 acres, more or less. Bounded towards
the north-east generally by Whangaruru Harbour; towards
the south-east generally by the Kohanga Block, the Waika-
ramahi Stream, and by unadjudicated Native land; towards
the south generally by the Waikaramihia Block, by un-
adjudicated Native land, and by the Waikokopu Stream;
and towards the south-west and north-west generally by
unadjudicated Native land to the point of commencement.
WAIKATO COUNTY.—SMALL GRAZING-RUN No. 17.
All that parcel of land in the Auckland Land District,
being Section No. 440 of the Parish of Whangamarino, con-
taining by admeasurement 2,011 acres 2 roods 34 perches,
more or less. Bounded towards the north-east generally by
a public road, and by Section No. 279 of the Parish of Wha-
gamarino; towards the south by Section No. 441 of the
same parish (Small Grazing-run No. 18); towards the
south-west by Section No. 211 of the said parish; towards
the north-west by Sections Nos. 447, 444, and 326 of the said
parish; again towards the south-west by Section No. 326
aforesaid and Sections Nos. 240 and 239; towards the west
by Section No. 446; and again towards the north-west by
Section No. 59, by a public road, and by Sections Nos. 56 and
57, all of the Parish of Whangamarino aforesaid, to the point
of commencement.
WAIKATO COUNTY.—SMALL GRAZING-RUN No. 18.
All that parcel of land in the Auckland Land District,
being Section No. 441 of the Parish of Whangamarino,
containing by admeasurement 4,374 acres, more or less.
Bounded towards the north generally by Section No. 440 of
the Parish of Whangamarino (Small Grazing-run No. 17);
towards the north-east by Sections Nos. 279 and 269 of the
same parish; towards the south-east by Sections Nos. 42A,
42, 41, 40, 39, 38, 37, 36, 35, and 34 of the same parish, and
by a public road; towards the west generally by Sections
Nos. 3, 443, 442, 174, and 332 of the Parish of Whangamarino
aforesaid, and by a piece of land containing 33 acres required
for Natives; again towards the south-east by said land
required for Natives, and Section No. 332 aforesaid; and
towards the south-west by Sections Nos. 327, 213, and 212 of
the parish of Whangamarino aforesaid to the point of com-
mencement.
ROTORUA COUNTY.—SMALL GRAZING-RUN No. 8.
All that parcel of land in the Auckland Land District,
situate in Block IX., Waihi South Survey District, and
Blocks I. and V., Rotorua Survey District, containing by
admeasurement 6,030 acres, more or less. Bounded towards
the north by Run No. 7; towards the east by the eastern
boundary-line of Blocks I. and V., Rotorua Survey District,
which also forms the western boundary of Run No. 14, by
Roto Ehu Lake, by Section No. 1 of Block VI., Rotorua
Survey District, and again by Roto Ehu Lake; towards the
south-west generally by unadjudicated Native land, by Roto
Ehu Lake, and by unadjudicated Native land; and towards
the west generally by the Pongakawa River to the point of
commencement.
ROTORUA COUNTY.—SMALL GRAZING-RUN No. 14.
All that parcel of land in the Auckland Land District,
situate in Block X., Waihi South Survey District, and
Blocks II. and VI., Rotorua Survey District, containing by
admeasurement 2,480 acres, more or less. Bounded towards
the north by Run No. 7; towards the east generally by the
Waitahanui Stream, by the Tahunaroa No. 3 Block, and by
Run No. 9; towards the south-west by Roto Ehu Lake; and
towards the west by the western boundary-line of Blocks II.
and VI., Rotorua Survey District, which also forms the
eastern boundary of Run No. 8, to the point of commence-
ment.
WHAKATANE COUNTY.—SMALL GRAZING-RUN No. 15.
All that parcel of land in the Auckland Land District,
situate in the Parish of Matata, containing by admeasure-
ment 6,300 acres, more or less. Bounded towards the north-
east generally by the Tauranga—Opitiki Road, by a right line
being the production in a south-westerly direction of the
south-eastern boundary of Section No. 18 of the Parish of
Matata, by a right line running through Trig. Station 10
at a bearing of 306° 15′ to the road which forms the western
boundary of Section No. 10 of the Parish of Matata; thence
towards the south-west generally by that road, by Section
No. 14A of the Parish of Matata, by a right line being the
production in a north-westerly direction of the south-western
boundary of the last-named section, and by a right line
being the production in a north-easterly direction of the
north-western boundary of Section No. 21 of the same
parish; and towards the west generally by a right line being
the production in a south-easterly direction of part of the
north-eastern boundary of Run No. 10, by that boundary, by
the Whakarewa Stream, by Run No. 10A, and by Section
No. 69A of the Parish of Matata aforesaid to the point of
commencement.

and authority enabling me in that behalf, I, David, Earl
of Glasgow, the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, do
hereby declare that the lands mentioned in the Schedule
hereto shall be subject to the provisions of sections one
hundred and seventy-three to one hundred and eighty-six of
Part V. of “The Land Act, 1892,” relating to small grazing-
runs.

hundred and seventy-three:
And whereas, in the opinion of the Governor, it is expe-
dient to vest the said lands in the inhabitants of the Akaroa
County:
