COOK COUNTY COUNCIL.—TAUWHAREPARAE SPECIAL DISTRICT.

Notice is hereby given that, at a poll of the ratepayers within this special district, taken on the 19th instant, upon a proposal to raise a loan of £2,000 for the construction of a road to connect Tauwhareparae Block with the Tolago-Arakihī Road, the following votes were recorded:—

For the proposal, 5 persons, exercising 13 votes; against the proposal, 0. Total number on the roll, 7 persons, capable of exercising 18 votes.

As a majority of persons exercised a majority of the votes in favour of the proposal, I declare it carried.
