Now, therefore, His Excellency Sir James Prendergast, the Administrator of the Government of the Colony of New Zealand, in exercise of the powers conferred by “The District Courts Act, 1858,” and its amendments, and of all other powers and authorities conferred upon him in this behalf, and acting with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said colony, doth hereby revoke the said recited Order in Council of the twenty-second day of August aforesaid, and the scale of fees thereby fixed, and in lieu thereof doth hereby fix and prescribe the scale of fees mentioned in the Schedule hereto as the fees to be payable in respect of appeals to a District Court from the decision of any Warden’s Court, under “The Mining Act, 1891.” And it is hereby declared that this Order in Council shall come into force and take effect on the ninth day of June instant.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government House, at Wellington, this sixth day of June, 1892.
Present:
HIS EXCELLENCY THE ADMINISTRATOR OF THE GOVERNMENT IN COUNCIL.
WHEREAS it has been made to appear that, owing to unavoidable circumstances, the Commissioner of Taxes has failed to make out and forward a valuation-roll to the Clerk of each local body in the colony within the time limited by section four of “The Rating Act, 1882” (hereinafter termed “the said Act”), and it is expedient that the time for making out and forwarding such rolls should be extended, so that the intent and purpose of the said Act may have effect:
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Administrator of the Government of the Colony of New Zealand, by virtue and in exercise of the powers and authorities vested in him by the said Act, and by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said colony, doth hereby order and declare that the time for making out and forwarding valuation-rolls to the Clerk of each local body in the colony, under section four of the said Act shall, for the year one thousand eight hundred and ninety-two, be and the same is hereby extended to the thirtieth day of July, one thousand eight hundred and ninety-two.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me in that behalf by “The Land and Income Assessment Act, 1891,” I, James Prendergast, the Administrator of the Government of the Colony of New Zealand, do hereby appoint the several persons whose names are mentioned in the Schedule hereto to constitute Boards of Review of Assessments under “The Land and Income Assessment Act, 1891;” and I do further appoint that each of the groups of three of the said persons respectively mentioned in the said Schedule, and bracketed together, shall respectively form a Board of Review of Assessments under “The Land and Income Assessment Act, 1891.”

THE following commission, appointing the Right Honourable the Earl of Glasgow, G.C.M.G., to be Governor and Commander-in-Chief of the Colony of New Zealand, is published for general information.

VICTORIA, by the Grace of God, of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Ireland, Queen, Defender of the Faith, Empress of India, to our Right Trusty and Right Well-beloved Cousin David, Earl of Glasgow, Knight Grand Cross of our Most Distinguished Order of Saint Michael and Saint George, Greeting:
We do, by this our Commission under our Sign-manual and Signet, appoint you, the said David, Earl of Glasgow, to be, during our pleasure, our Governor and Commander-in-Chief in and over our Colony of New Zealand and its Dependencies, with all the powers, rights, privileges, and advantages to the said office belonging or appertaining.

And We do hereby authorise, empower, and command you to exercise and perform all and singular the powers and directions contained in our Letters Patent under the Great Seal of our United Kingdom of Great Britain and Ireland, bearing date at Westminster the twenty-first day of February, one thousand eight hundred and seventy-nine, or in any other Letters Patent adding to, amending, or substituted for the same, according to such Orders and Instructions as our Governor for the time being hath already received from Us, and to such further Orders and Instructions as you shall hereafter receive from Us.

And We do hereby appoint that, so soon as you shall have taken the prescribed oaths and have entered upon the duties of your office, this our present Commission shall supersede our Commission under our Sign-manual and Signet, bearing date the twenty-fourth day of November, one thousand eight hundred and eighty-eight, appointing our Right Trusty and Right Well-beloved Cousin William Hillier, Earl of Onslow, Knight Commander (now Knight Grand Cross) of our Most Distinguished Order of Saint Michael and Saint George, to be our Governor and Commander-in-Chief of our said Colony and its Dependencies.

And We do hereby command all and singular our Officers, Ministers, and loving subjects in our said Colony and its Dependencies, and all others whom it may concern, to take due notice hereof, and to give their ready obedience accordingly.
Given at our Court, at Windsor, this twenty-fourth day of February, one thousand eight hundred and ninety-two, in the Fifty-fifth Year of our Reign.
