NOTICE is hereby given that JAMES CHADWICK AND BROTHER (LIMITED), of Eagley Mills, Bolton, Lancaster, England, Sewing-cotton Manufacturers, Doublers, Dyers, and Tape-reelers, have applied to register, under "The Patents, Designs, and Trade-marks Act, 1889," the trade-mark of which the following is a representation:—

The applicants claim that this mark has been in use by themselves and their predecessors in business for about two years before the 1st January, 1890.

Nature of the Articles to which it is intended such Trade-mark shall apply.

Sewing cotton and thread.

Class of Goods in connection with which the Applicants desire the Trade-mark to be registered.

Class No. 23.

Any person may, within two months of the date of this Gazette, give notice, in duplicate, at this office, of opposition to the registration of the trade-mark. A fee of £1 is payable with such notice.
