Vaccination Stations appointed, Opunake and Wellington Districts.

JAMES PRENDERGAST,

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in me by “The Public Health Act, 1876,” I, James Prendergast, the Administrator of the Government of the Colony of New Zealand, do hereby appoint the several places mentioned in the second column of the Schedule hereto as and to be the places at which the Public Vaccinators appointed for the respective districts mentioned in the first column of the said Schedule shall attend for the performance of vaccination, as required by the said Act; and I do hereby give notice that each such Public Vaccinator will attend at the respective places aforesaid, for the purpose of performing such vaccination, on the days and at the hours set forth in the third column of the said Schedule opposite the name of each such place; and, further, that at each such place as last aforesaid the Public Vaccinator will attend, for the purpose of inspecting the progress of such vaccination in the persons so vaccinated, on the days and at the hours respectively set forth in the fourth column of the said Schedule opposite the name of each such place.

SCHEDULE.

District for which Public Vaccinator appointed. Place where Vaccination to be performed. Days and Hours fixed for Performance of Vaccination. Days and Hours fixed for inspecting the Progress of Vaccination.
Opunake .. The Drill-shed, Opunake Second Wednesday in May and September, from 11 a.m. until 3 p.m. Third Wednesday in May and September, from 11 a.m. until 3 p.m.
Wellington .. Mr. Davies’s Store, Upper Hutt Every Thursday, from 2 p.m. until 3 p.m. Every Thursday, from 2 p.m. until 3 p.m.

Shooting Season for Native Game, Lake District.

IN exercise of the powers vested in me by “The Animals Protection Act, 1880,” and the Acts amending the same, I, James Prendergast, the Administrator of the Government of the Colony of New Zealand, do hereby notify that native game, excepting tui, huia, white heron, and crested grebe, may be taken or killed within the Lake District, consisting of the County of Lake, from the first day of May, one thousand eight hundred and ninety-two, to the thirty-first day of July, one thousand eight hundred and ninety-two, both days inclusive (subject nevertheless to the restrictions in the said Acts mentioned). And I do further notify that licenses to sell such native game within the said district shall be issued on payment of the sum of five pounds each; and the Postmaster at Queenstown is hereby appointed to sign and issue the said licenses.

As witness the hand of His Excellency the Administrator of the Government, this thirty-first day of March, one thousand eight hundred and ninety-two.

Shooting Season for Native Game, Kaikoura.

IN exercise of the powers vested in me by “The Animals Protection Act, 1880,” and the Acts amending the same, I, James Prendergast, the Administrator of the Government of the Colony of New Zealand, do hereby declare that native game, excepting tuis, white heron, and crested grebe, may be taken or killed within the County of Kaikoura—except on the Lyell Creek, County of Kaikoura, between Lyell Bridge and the sea—from the first day of April, one thousand eight hundred and ninety-two, to the thirty-first day of July, one thousand eight hundred and ninety-two, both days inclusive. And I do further notify that licenses to sell such native game within the said district shall be issued on payment of the sum of five pounds each; and the Postmaster at Kaikoura is hereby appointed to sign and issue the said licenses.

As witness the hand of His Excellency the Administrator of the Government, this thirty-first day of March, one thousand eight hundred and ninety-two.

Season for shooting Native Game, Waitaki, to commence on the 1st April.

WHEREAS by a warrant made under “The Animals Protection Act, 1880,” dated the seventh day of March, one thousand eight hundred and ninety-two, and published in the New Zealand Gazette of the tenth day of the said month of March, it is notified, amongst other things, that native game, with certain exceptions, may be taken or killed within the Waitaki District, consisting of the County of Waitaki, from the first day of May next: And whereas it is expedient to extend the time during which native game may be taken or killed in the said district during the present year:

Now, therefore, I, James Prendergast, the Administrator of the Government of the Colony of New Zealand, in exercise of the powers vested in me by the aforesaid “Animals Protection Act, 1880,” and the Acts amending the same, do hereby declare that native game, excepting tui, huia, white heron, and crested grebe, may be taken or killed within the above-mentioned District of Waitaki from the first day of April, one thousand eight hundred and ninety-two, to the thirty-first day of July, one thousand eight hundred and ninety-two, both days inclusive.

As witness the hand of His Excellency the Administrator of the Government, this second day of April, one thousand eight hundred and ninety-two.

Declaring County of Stratford to be in Taranaki Hospital District.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by “The Hospitals and Charitable Institutions Act, 1885,” and the Acts amending the same (hereinafter termed “the said Acts”), I, James Prendergast, the Administrator of the Government of the Colony of New Zealand, do hereby declare that the County of Stratford (as constituted by an Act of the General Assembly of New Zealand intituled “The Stratford County Act, 1890,” and the boundaries of which extend into the Taranaki and Patea Hospital Districts) shall be deemed to be included in the said Taranaki Hospital District for the purposes of the said Acts.

As witness the hand of His Excellency the Administrator of the Government, this second day of April, one thousand eight hundred and ninety-two.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the sixth section of “The Cemeteries Act, 1882,” I, James Prendergast, the Administrator of the Government of the Colony of New Zealand, do hereby appoint

WILLIAM EDWARD AKROYD

to be a Trustee, in the place of J. W. Johnston, resigned, to provide for the maintenance and care of the Makaraka Cemetery, in conjunction with the other persons appointed by warrant under the hand of His Excellency the Governor on the twenty-third day of December, one thousand eight hundred and seventy-eight.

As witness the hand of His Excellency the Administrator of the Government, this thirty-first day of March, one thousand eight hundred and ninety-two.
