Now, therefore, I, James Prendergast, the Administrator of the Government of the Colony of New Zealand, in exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by section two of “The Public Reserves Act Amendment Act, 1889,” do, by this notification, declare that, from the thirty-first day of March, one thousand eight hundred and ninety-two, the land comprised and described in the first column of the Schedule hereto shall be appropriated for the purposes mentioned in the second column of the said Schedule, the same being a purpose for which a reserve may be made under that part of Class III. of “The Public Reserves Act, 1881,” which relates to “Reserves for Education, Charitable Purposes, or Recreation.”

At the Government House, at Wellington, this sixteenth day of March, 1892.

HIS EXCELLENCY THE ADMINISTRATOR OF THE GOVERNMENT IN COUNCIL.
WHEREAS by the one hundred and sixty-third section of “The Land Act, 1885,” it is enacted that the Governor in Council may from time to time make, alter, and repeal regulations for fixing the terms and conditions upon which the lands in any special settlement shall be disposed of, and the mode of payment for the same:
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Administrator of the Government of the Colony of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon him by the hereinbefore in part recited Act, and by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said colony, doth hereby make the following regulation fixing the terms and conditions on which the lands mentioned in the Schedule hereto shall be disposed of, and the mode of payment for the same, that is to say:—
REGULATION.
The said sections of land enumerated in the Schedule hereto shall be leased and disposed of in accordance with the provisions of the Village-homestead Regulations, made by Order in Council issued under the said Act on the 27th February, 1891, all the terms and conditions of which said regulations shall and may be applied to such land accordingly.

At the Government House, at Wellington, this sixteenth day of March, 1892.

HIS EXCELLENCY THE ADMINISTRATOR OF THE GOVERNMENT IN COUNCIL.
IN pursuance and in exercise of the powers vested in him by “The Public Works Act, 1882,” and of all other powers in anywise enabling him in this behalf, His Excellency the Administrator of the Government of the Colony of New Zealand, by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said colony, doth hereby order that the road in the Clutha County known as the Catlin’s-Waikawa Road, described in the Schedule below, and which was made by the Governor under the powers contained in the said Act, and has hitherto been a Government road, shall, on and after the date of this Order in Council, become a county road.

SCHEDULE.
ALL that portion of the road known as the Catlin’s-Waikawa Road which commences at Quakerfield, on the main road to Romahapa, and proceeds in a generally south-westerly direction to the Mackenzie Bridge, over Mackenzie Stream near the Town of Catlin’s, including the said Mackenzie Bridge and the approaches on each side thereof, and the Catlin’s Bridge over Catlin’s River, all in the County of Clutha, Land District of Otago; as the same is delineated on the plan marked S.G. 14262, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, in the Land District of Wellington, and thereon coloured red.

Certain Goods deemed specially dangerous under “The Dangerous Goods Act, 1882.”

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government House, at Wellington, this sixteenth day of March, 1892.
Present:
HIS EXCELLENCY THE ADMINISTRATOR OF THE GOVERNMENT IN COUNCIL.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in him by “The Dangerous Goods Act, 1882,” His Excellency the Administrator of the Government of the Colony of New Zealand, by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said colony, doth hereby order and declare that the following goods, namely, gelatine-dynamite, gelignite, and also all fuses and detonators for igniting and discharging the above-named explosives, shall be deemed “specially dangerous” within the meaning of the said Act.
And in further pursuance and exercise of the said powers and authorities, and by and with the like advice and consent as aforesaid, His said Excellency doth hereby declare that the provisions of this Order in Council shall extend to the whole of the Colony of New Zealand.
