Ormond-Opotiki Road, Section No. 1, Block XI., Section
No.1, Block XII., Motu Survey District, the Rangiriri Stream,
Waikohu-Matawai No. 1 Block, and Waikohu Block;
towards the south by Run No. 47; and towards the west by
Crown land.

All that area in the Wellington Land District, containing
by admeasurement 83,500 acres, more or less. Bounded
towards the north by the Provincial District of Hawke's
Bay; towards the east generally by Sections Nos. 212, 191,
and 190, Block VII., Sections Nos. 210 and 188, Block XI.,
and Section No. 186, Block X., Mount Cerberus District,
Section No. 171, Block III., Aohanga District, Sections Nos.
4, 3, 2, and 1, Block IX., Mount Cerberus District, Section
No. 3, Block VIII., Mount Cerberus District, Sections
Nos. 2, 4, and 5, Block I., Aohanga District, Section No. 9,
Block II., and Crown land; towards the south generally by
Sections Nos. 67, 68, and 69, Block VIII., Puketoi District,
Sections Nos. 48 and 20, Block VII., the Tiraumea River,
and a public road; and towards the west generally by a
public road and the summit of the Puketoi Range, by Trig.
Stations Flax, Summit, and Towai to the provincial district
boundary.

All that area in the Otago Land District situate in the
Domet, Kyeburn, and Kakanui Survey Districts, containing
by admeasurement 36,090 acres, more or less. Bounded
towards the north by the bridle-track and main road along
the north branch of the Maruwenua River; towards the
east by Maruwenua Survey District and Block III., Kaka-
nui Survey District, to the summit of the watershed near
Trig. Station D; towards the north-west by that watershed,
and Section No. 1, Block III., and Section No. 3, Block IV.,
and by Run No. 134A to the Kakanui River; towards the
south-east and south by that river and by Run No. 134A,
before mentioned, to Mount Pisgah; thence towards the
south-west and north-west by Runs Nos. 206D and 206B
(the summit of the Kakanui Range) to Dansey's Pass.

All that area in the Southland Land District, containing by
admeasurement 4,000 acres, more or less, situated in Long-
wood Survey District, Wallace County. Bounded towards
the north by the Waiau District; towards the east by Block
XVIII.; towards the south by Blocks XVI. and XV.; and
towards the north-west by the Waiau River.

Given under the hand of His Excellency Sir James
Prendergast, Knight, Chief Justice, the Adminis-
trator of the Government of Her Majesty's Colony
of New Zealand; and issued under the Seal of
the said Colony, at the Government House, at
Wellington, this fifteenth day of March, in the
year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and
ninety-two.

A PROCLAMATION.

BY virtue and in exercise of the powers and authorities
vested in me by the one hundred and ninety-seventh
section of "The Land Act, 1885," and of every other power
and authority enabling me in that behalf, I, James Prender-
gast, the Administrator of the Government of the Colony of
New Zealand, do hereby set aside the pastoral lands men-
tioned in the Schedule hereto, under Part VII. of the said
Act, subject to existing rights, and also do hereby sub-
divide the same as grazing-runs in the areas respectively in
the said Schedule mentioned.

OTAGO LAND DISTRICT.β€”LAUDER SURVEY DISTRICT.
Section 5, Block VI., 1,298 acres 1 rood 23 perches.
Section 6, Block VI., 1,281 acres 3 roods 20 perches.

Given under the hand of His Excellency Sir James
Prendergast, Knight, Chief Justice, the Adminis-
trator of the Government of Her Majesty's Colony
of New Zealand; and issued under the Seal of
the said Colony, at the Government House, at
Wellington, this seventeenth day of March, in the
year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and

A PROCLAMATION.

WHEREAS the lands mentioned in the Schedule hereto
are required to be taken, under "The Public Works
Act, 1882," and its amendments, for a certain work, to wit,
the construction of roads in Waitemata County:

And whereas the Waitemata County Council has laid be-
fore the Governor the memorials, accompanied by maps, and
also the statutory declarations, required by the said Act
and the amendments thereof:

Now, therefore, I, James Prendergast, the Administrator
of the Government of the Colony of New Zealand, in exercise
and pursuance of the powers and authorities in me vested by
"The Public Works Act, 1882," and of every other power
and authority in anywise enabling me in that behalf, do
hereby proclaim and declare that, from and after the date
of the publication hereof in the New Zealand Gazette, the
lands mentioned in the Schedule hereto are hereby taken for
the purposes of the construction of the said roads.

ment of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, in the Land Dis-
trict of Wellington, and thereon coloured red.
