STRATFORD COUNTY COUNCIL.
RESULT of poll taken on the 18th November, 1891, upon the proposal to borrow £3,300 to form and metal Opunake Road, including bridging and culverting, from Hastings Road to Rowan Road :—
Total number of ratepayers on roll, each exercising one vote, 52; number of ratepayers voting in favour of proposal, 27; number voting against, 6.
I therefore declare the proposal carried.

RESULT OF POLL FOR PROPOSED LOAN, MANGANUI ROAD BOARD.
THE following is the result of a poll taken on the 21st November, 1891, on a proposal to raise a loan of £1,200, under the provisions of “The Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1886,” and “The Government Loans to Local Bodies Act, 1886,” and amendments, for the purpose of forming and graveling the Pembroke Road from the boundaries of the Stratford Township westward :—
Number of ratepayers on the roll, 24; number of votes exercisable, 25; number of ratepayers who voted for the proposal, 15; number of ratepayers who voted against, 4; number of votes recorded for the proposal, 15; number of votes recorded against, 4.
As a majority in number of the ratepayers have voted in favour of the proposal, and the numbers so voting are entitled to more than half in number of the votes which can be exercised by the whole number of ratepayers, I hereby declare the resolutions carried.

RESULT of poll on a proposal of the Geraldine County Council to borrow the sum of £3,000, under the provisions of “The Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1886,” for the purpose of a water-supply for the Enlarged Waitohi Flat Water-supply District, in the County of Geraldine, taken on Monday, the 16th November, 1891, at the Waitohi Flat Library :—
Number of ratepayers who voted 59, out of a possible 76; number of votes recorded for the purpose, 100; number of votes recorded against proposal, 1; total 101, out of a possible 128.
As the majority of ratepayers have voted in favour of the proposal, and the number so voting are entitled to more than one-half of the votes which can be exercised by the whole number of ratepayers, I therefore declare the proposal carried.

SPECIAL ORDER made by the Rodney County Council, at a duly-constituted Special Meeting held at the Council Chamber, Warkworth, on Monday, the 14th September, 1891.
THAT a new road district be constituted under the name of the Mainene Road District, with boundaries as per attached description.

MAINENE ROAD DISTRICT.
All that area in the Auckland Land District, commencing at a point in the middle of the Hakuru River, being the termination of a right line produced westerly in continuance of the northern boundary of Section No. 33 of the Parish of Oruawharo. Bounded towards the north by the right line aforesaid, the northern boundary of Section No. 33, and by that boundary produced easterly to the middle of the road which forms its eastern boundary; towards the east generally by a line along the middle of the road aforesaid, which bounds towards the east Sections Nos. 33, 32, 30, 29, 26, 25, 24, 27, 172, 173, 174, 175, 61, and 71, to a point on the same being the termination of another right line produced north-easterly in continuance of the south-eastern boundary of Section No. 71 aforesaid; thence by the right line last named, the south-eastern boundary of Section No. 71 aforesaid, the south-eastern boundary of Section No. 78, and by the latter boundary produced to the middle of the road at its southern angle; thence by a line along the middle of that road to the parish boundary of Arai at the north-eastern angle of Section No. 92 of the Parish of Oruawharo aforesaid; and thence by part of the western boundary of the Parish of Arai to the southern angle of Section No. 93, also of the Parish of Oruawharo; towards the south generally by the south-western boundary of Section No. 93 aforesaid to Te Haua River, and by a line along the middle of that river to its confluence with the Topunui River; and towards the west by a line along the middle of the Topunui and Hakaru Rivers to the commencing-point.
ALBERTLAND NORTH ROAD DISTRICT.—AMENDED BOUNDARIES.
All that area in the Auckland Land District, commencing at a point on the middle of the road at the north-western angle of Section No. 19 of the Parish of Oruawharo, being the termination of a right line produced westerly in continuance of the northern boundary of Section No. 19 aforesaid. Bounded towards the north by part of the southern boundary of the Parish of Mangawai from the place above described to the north-eastern angle of Section No. 1 of the Parish of Oruawharo; towards the east by part of the eastern boundary of the Parish of Oruawharo aforesaid as far as the middle of the road at the north-eastern angle of Section No. 92 of the said parish; towards the south generally by a line along the middle of the road which forms the northern boundaries of Sections Nos. 92, 91, 89, 90, 98, 96, 97, 187, and 180 to a point on the same being the termination of a right line produced south-westerly in continuance of the south-eastern boundary of Section No. 78; and towards the west generally by the right line aforesaid, the south-eastern boundary of Section No. 78, the south-eastern boundary of Section No. 71, and by the latter boundary produced to the middle of the road at its eastern angle; and thence by a line along the middle of the road which bounds towards the east Sections Nos. 71, 61, 175, 174, 173, 172, 27, 24, 25, 26, 29, 30, 32, and 33 to the commencing-point.
