All that parcel of land containing 26 acres, more or less,
being Reserve No. 2950 (in red), Block VI., on the map of
the Tekapo Survey District. Bounded towards the north-
west by Section No. 717, 2470 links; towards the north-east
by Section No. 718, 2630 links; and towards the south and
south-west by Lake Tekapo. For plantation purposes.
All that parcel of land being Reserve No. 2951 (in red),
and formerly part of Reserve No. 684, containing 41 acres,
more or less, situate in Block II., Southbridge Survey Dis-
trict, being Lot No. 13, together with that parcel of land
lying between low-water mark of Lake Ellesmere and the
road forming the northern boundary of Lots Nos. 11 and 12,
and east of Lot No. 10, of the subdivision of the aforesaid
Reserve No. 684: as the same is more particularly delineated
on the map deposited in the office of the Chief Surveyor,
Christchurch. For a landing reserve.
All that parcel of land situate in Block VIII., Rangitata
Survey District, containing 108 acres 1 rood 24 perches, more
or less, being part of Reserve No. 1650. Bounded towards
the north-west by Lots Nos. 5 and 3 of said reserve, a dis-
tance of 11136·1 links; towards the north-east by a con-
tinuation of the road forming the north-east boundary of
said Lot No. 3, a distance of 621 links; towards the south-
east by Reserves Nos. 1449 and 2848, a distance of 11092·7
links; and towards the south-west by Lot No. 8 of Reserve
No. 1650, a distance of 1031·1 links: as the same is more
particularly delineated on the map deposited in the office
of the Chief Surveyor, Christchurch. For plantation pur-

All that parcel of land containing 8 acres 3 roods 11
perches, more or less, being Reserve No. 2953 (in red),
Block XII., on the map of the Oxford Survey District.
Bounded towards the north-eastward by a road-line, 1192
links; towards the south-eastward by Section No. 30861,
1481 links; and towards the south-westward by a road-line,
1934 links: be all the aforesaid linkages more or less; as the
same is more particularly delineated on the map deposited

All that parcel of land in the Canterbury Land District,
containing 40 acres, more or less, being Reserve No. 2954
(in red), situate in Block VI., Pareora Survey District.
Bounded on the north-west by the Tengawai River; towards
the north-east by Section No. 35037; towards the south-east
by the Mackenzie County Road; and towards the south-west
by Section No. 34506: as the same is more particularly de-
lineated on the map deposited in the District Survey Office,

containing by admeasurement 5 acres, more or less, being
Section No. 2865 (in red), situate in Block XVI., Grey
Survey District, formerly part of Reserve No. 253. Bounded
north-eastward by a road-line, 707 links; south-eastward by
Reserve No. 253, 707 links; south-westward by Reserve No.
253, 707 links; and north-westward by a road-line, 707 links:

containing by admeasurement 5 acres, more or less, being
Section No. 2869 (in red), situate in Block XVI., Grey
Survey District, formerly part of Reserve No. 260. Bounded
eastward by the Amberley and Bluff Railway Reserve, 1430·4
links; south-westward by Reserve Nos. 260, 1115 links;
and north-westward by a road-line, 896 links: be all the
aforesaid linkages more or less; as the same is delineated
on the map deposited in the District Survey Office, Christ-

containing by admeasurement 4 acres, more or less, being
Section No. 2870 (in red), situate in Block IV., Rangiora
Survey District, formerly part of Reserve No. 376. Bounded
north-eastward by the Amberley and Bluff Railway Reserve,
970 links; south-eastward by Reserve No. 376, 204·6 links;
south-westward by Reserve No. 376, 708·5 links; and north-
westward by a road-line, 859·7 links: be all the aforesaid
linkages more or less; as the same is delineated on the
map deposited in the District Survey Office, Christchurch.

OTAGO.
All that parcel of land in the Otago Land District, con-
taining by admeasurement 3 roods 19 perches, more or less,
being Section No. 28, Block I., Waitahuna West District.
Bounded towards the north-west by Section No. 169, 313
links; towards the north-east by a public road, 349 links;
towards the south by a public road, 263 links; and towards
the south-west by a public road, 286 links. For a site for a
public hall.
SOUTHLAND.
All that parcel of land in the Southland Land District,
containing by admeasurement 3 acres 1 rood 4 perches,
more or less, being Section No. 15, Block II., Town of
Tokonui. Bounded on the north by road reserve, 261, 301·9,
and 335·8 links; on the east by East Street, 217·8 links;
on the south-east by Sections Nos. 9 to 14, Block II.,
675·5 links; and on the west by road reserve, 643·3 links:
as the same is delineated on the plan deposited in the office
of the Chief Surveyor, Invercargill. For recreation purposes.
All that parcel of land in the Southland Land District,
containing by admeasurement 5 acres and 10·8 perches,
more or less, being Section No. 33, Block II., Town of Toko-
nui. Bounded on the north by Section No. 31, Block II.,
691·8 links; on the east by East Street, 732·5 links; on the
south by South Street, 691·8 links; and on the west by
Section No. 32, Block II., 732·5 links: as the same is
delineated on the plan deposited in the office of the Chief
Surveyor, Invercargill. For a cemetery.
As witness the hand of His Excellency the Governor,
this twenty-third day of October, one thousand
eight hundred and ninety-one.

ONSLow, Governor.
WHEREAS by the two hundred and twenty-seventh section of “The Land Act, 1885,” it is enacted that the Governor
may from time to time, either by general or particular description, and whether the same has been surveyed
or not, reserve from sale temporarily, notwithstanding that the same may be then held under pastoral license, any
Crown lands which in his opinion are required for any of the purposes in the said section mentioned:
And whereas by the two hundred and twenty-eighth section of the said Act it is provided that land temporarily
reserved under the said two hundred and twenty-seventh section may, at the expiration of one month but not later than
six months after the publication in the Gazette of notice of such temporary reservation, be permanently reserved, and that
notice of such permanent reservation shall be published in the Gazette:
And whereas the lands specified in the first column of the Schedule hereto were, by the warrants the dates of which
are specified in the third column of the said Schedule, and the notifications of which were published in the Gazette
specified in the fourth column, temporarily reserved under the authority of the said Act for the purposes specified
in the second column of the said Schedule:
Now, therefore, I, William Hillier, Earl of Onslow, the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, in pursuance and
exercise of the power and authority vested in me by the said Act, do hereby permanently reserve the lands so temporarily
reserved as aforesaid, and enumerated in the first column of the Schedule hereto, for the purposes specified in the second
column of the said Schedule, being the same purposes for which the said lands were so temporarily reserved as aforesaid,
