Thames comprises the whole of Coromandel County; the Waiotahi Riding, of Thames County; also that portion of Hastings Riding, of the same county, lying to the west of the Waiwawa River and the Taitoko Stream; and that portion of Kauaeranga Riding generally south-west of a line commencing at Hape Creek, in line with the middle of Sandes Street, Shortland Township, and proceeding northerly to and along the middle of the said street to Sealy Street, thence easterly along Sealy Street to the eastern boundary of Shortland Township, and thence northerly along that boundary to Karaka Creek. This district comprises also the Borough of Thames, and Great Mercury and Cuvier Islands.

Franklin comprises the Ridings of Pukekohe, Waiuku, Awhitu, Otahuhu, and Howick, of Manukau County; and that portion of Papakura Road District situated north-west of a road running easterly from the Great South Road, near Manurewa Railway-station, passing Sections 12 to 18, Papakura Parish, to the Pakuranga Parish boundary, and from thence north-west of a line along that boundary to the Wairoa Parish, and along the north-western boundary of the last-named parish to the Turanga Road District. This district includes also the Islands of Waiheke, Motutapu, Ponui, Rakino, Rangitoto, and adjacent islands.

Waikato comprises the whole of the Waikato County; the Maungatawhiri Riding, of the Manukau County; that portion of Papakura Riding lying south of Maraetai and Pakuranga Parishes, and of a road commencing in Section 65, Papakura Parish, and extending westerly to the Great South Road, near Manurewa Railway-station; together with all of Raglan County, excepting the Ridings of Pirongia and Karamu. Cambridge Borough is included with the boundaries of this district, and also Papakura Town District.

Waipa comprises the following counties: Waipa, West Taupo, East Taupo, and Piako; together with the Ridings of Pirongia and Karamu, of Raglan County; and the whole of Kawhia County, excepting that part lying south of the parallel of 38° 30' south latitude. This district includes also the Borough of Hamilton, and the Town Districts of Te Awamutu, Kihikihi, Ngaruawahia, and Te Aroha.

Bay of Plenty comprises the Counties of Ohinemuri, Tauranga, Whakatane, and Rotorua; and that portion of Thames County lying to the south-east of a line starting at the Coromandel County boundary, and proceeding along the Waiwawa River and the Taitoko Stream, and along the eastern boundary of Hastings Riding, and the eastern and southern boundaries of Waiotahi Riding, thence across the Karaka Creek, and along the north-eastern boundary of Shortland Township to Sealy Street, thence westerly along Sealy Street to Sandes Street, thence southerly along Sandes Street and its extension to Hape Creek, and thence along Hape Creek to Thames Borough. Included also in this electorate are the Borough of Tauranga, Opotiki Town District, and Motiti Island.

East Coast comprises the Counties of Cook, Waiapu, and Wairoa; together with the Petane Riding and the Puketapu Road District, both of Hawke’s Bay County; and the Borough of Gisborne. Clyde Town District is in this electorate.

Hawke’s Bay comprises the whole of Hawke’s Bay County, excepting the Ridings of Petane and Puketapu, and that part of Meanee Riding situated south of the Tutaekuri River and of the road fronting Sections 15, 16, 8, and 9, Papakura, and south of Waitangi River; together with the Road Districts of Waipawa and North Ruataniwha; the Waipawa Town District, of Waipawa County; and that part of Ruataniwha Riding, of the Waipawa County, lying north of the Mangatewai or Avoca River; also the Patangata and Oero Ridings, of Patangata County. This district includes the Borough of Hastings, and has within its boundaries the Kaikora North Town District.

Napier comprises the Borough of Napier; and that part of Meanee Riding, of Hawke’s Bay County, lying north of the Tutaekuri River, and of the road intersecting the Papakura Block, fronting Sections 15, 16, 8, and 9, Papakura, and north of Waitangi River. Taradale Town District is in this electorate.

Waipawa comprises the whole of Waipawa County, excepting the Road Districts of Waipawa and North Ruataniwha, the Waipawa Town District, and that portion of Ruataniwha Riding situated north of the Mangatewai or Avoca River; together with the whole of Patangata County, excepting the Ridings of Patangata and Oero. There are also included in this electorate the Makuri Riding, of Pahiatua County; and another portion of Pahiatua County, which is bounded on the east by the Mangaramarama Creek and the road of the same name, and by the eastern boundaries of the Wellington Corporation Endowment, on the south by lines so as to exclude Pahiatua Town District and the Woodville-Mangatainoko Special Settlement, by the Mangahao River and the Tararua Road (known as the road to Palmerston), and on the west by the Tararua Range; also that portion of Akiteo Riding, of Wairarapa North County, which extends northwards from the Aohanga River to the county boundary. The Borough of Woodville and the Town Districts of Ormondville and Danevirke are within this electoral district.

Masterton comprises the whole of Pahiatua County, excepting Makuri Riding and an area situated north of a line extending along the Tararua Road (known as the road to Palmerston), along the northern boundary of the Woodville-Mangatainoko Special Settlement, and the northern boundary of Pahiatua Town District, and across the country to the Tiraumea River, near Ngaturi Township; together with the whole of Wairarapa North County, excepting the Wainuioru Riding and that part of Akiteo Riding stretching northward from the Aohanga River to the county boundary, as well as that portion of Masterton Riding in the existing electoral district. Masterton Borough forms part of this electorate, as also does Pahiatua Town District. The southern boundary of this district, extending from the East Coast to the Tararua Range, is unaltered.

Wairarapa.—This district is unaltered.

New Plymouth comprises Clifton County, and that part of Kawhia County lying south of parallel of south latitude 38° 30' (being generally a line east from Te Reinga Point, on the West Coast); together with the Road Districts of Waitara West, Egmont, Henui, Carrington, Frankley, Elliott, Barrett, Omata, Upper Hurford, Oakura, and Tataraimaka; Raleigh Town District; and that portion of Moa Riding within the boundaries of the present electoral district of New Plymouth. The Borough of New Plymouth is included in this district.

Egmont comprises the whole of Stratford County; the Road Districts of Okato and Parihaka; the Town District of Opunake, of Taranaki County; and that portion of Moa Riding, of the same county, which is included in the existing electorate of Egmont; together with the Waimate Road District, and Manaia Town District, of Hawera County. Inglewood and Stratford Town Districts are within the boundaries of this electorate.

Waitotara comprises the whole of Patea County; the Mokoia, Eltham, and Hawera Ridings, of Hawera County; together with the Ridings of Tokomaru and Waitotara, of Waitotara County; that portion of Westmere Riding, of the same county, which is situate to the north of the Kai Iwi Road-line and to the west of a line following the seaward boundaries of Sections 236, 233, 232, 231, and 230, Westmere Survey District, and proceeding thence to the northern corner of Castlecliff Township, and along its northern boundary to the sea; and that portion of Brunswick Riding, of Waitotara County, north of the Mission Line of road, and west of the eastern boundary of Section 60, and north of the northern boundaries of Sections 193, 229, and 134, Westmere Survey District. This district includes also the Boroughs of Hawera and Patea, and has within its boundaries the Town Districts of Normanby and Waverley.

Wanganui comprises the whole of Wanganui County, as well as that part of the Riding of Westmere, of Waitotara County, which lies to the south of the Kai Iwi line of road, and east of a line enclosing Sections 236, 233, 232, 231, and 230, Westmere Survey District, and proceeding thence to and along the northern boundary of Castlecliff Township to the sea; and also that part of Brunswick Riding lying south of the Mission Line of Road, east of Section 60, Westmere Survey District, and south of Sections 193, 229, and 134 of the same district; together with the Makohau and Wangaehu Ridings, of Rangitikei County; and that part of Okakapu Riding, of the last-named county, which lies west of the road which forms the western boundaries of Sections 24, 29, and 31, Block II., Rangitoto Survey District. This district includes also the Borough of Wanganui, and the Town District of Lethbridge.

Rangitikei comprises the whole of Rangitikei County, excepting the Ridings of Wangaehu and Makohau, and that part of Okakapu Riding lying to the west of the road which forms the western boundaries of Sections 24, 29, and 31, Block II, Rangitoto Survey District; together with the Riding of Waituna, of Oroua County; and that portion of Kiwitea Riding, of Oroua County, situated to the west of the Oroua River. This district includes also the Boroughs of Marton and Feilding; the Town Districts of Halcombe and Bulls are also within its boundaries.

Palmerston comprises the Ridings of Taonui, Ashurst, and Fitzherbert, of Oroua County; and that portion of Kiwitea Riding, of the same county, which lies east of the Oroua River; together with that part of Mount Stewart Riding, of Manawatu County, situated east of the road leading from Halcombe to Palmerston via Sections 93, 94, and 77, Block XIII., Oroua Survey District. This district includes also the Borough of Palmerston.

Otaki comprises Horowhenua County; the whole of Manawatu County, excepting the portion of Mount Stewart Riding which lies east of the road from Halcombe to Palmerston by way of Sections 93, 94, and 77, Block XIII, Oroua Survey District; together with the Ridings of Mungaroa, Wainuiomata, and Horokiwi, of Hutt County; and that portion of Epuni Riding situated to the north-east of the road leading northwards from the Borough of Lower Hutt, past Bel-
