Rural Land open for Sale or Selection, Auckland Land District.

I N pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon me by the third section of “The Land Act Amendment Act, 1887” (hereinafter termed “the said Act”), I, William Hillier, Earl of Onslow, the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, having received the report of the Surveyor-General in this behalf, as in the said section is provided, do hereby declare that the rural land enumerated in the Schedule hereto shall be open for sale or selection, after the lapse of a period of not less than forty-five days from the date of the first public notification hereof, in the manner and upon the conditions mentioned in the said Act, and at the price per acre stated in the said Schedule.

Village-settlement Section, Invercargill Hundred, notified under Section 14 of “The Land Acts Amendment Act, 1888.”

ONSLOW, Governor.

I N pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon me by the fourteenth section of “The Land Acts Amendment, 1888,” I, William Hillier, Earl of Onslow, the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, do hereby declare that the village-settlement section enumerated in the Schedule hereto, which, with other lands, was set apart by Proclamation issued on the sixth day of June, one thousand eight hundred and eighty-five, shall be open for sale and selection in manner and subject to the conditions as provided in section fourteen of “The Land Acts Amendment Act, 1888,” aforesaid.

INVERCARGILL HUNDRED VILLAGE SETTLEMENT.

SECTION 82, Block VII., 6 acres; cash price per acre, £4; deferred-payment price per acre, £5; perpetual-lease rent per acre, 4s.; improvements, £4 5s.

Vesting a Reserve in the Borough of Hamilton.

ONSLOW, Governor.

W HEREAS by section seventeen of “The Land Act, 1885,” it is provided that the reserves to be made for any borough or town district under such section shall be made only in cases where no such reserves for the purpose of sections three, five, and six of “The Plans of Towns Regulation Act, 1875,” exist therein, or, if existing, do not equal or exceed the amount of reserves authorised to be made under such last-mentioned Act:

And whereas the existing reserves for the Borough of Hamilton do not equal the amount of reserves authorised to be made under “The Plans of Towns Regulation Act, 1875,” and it appears expedient to make the reserves herein-after mentioned:

Now, therefore, I, William Hillier, Earl of Onslow, the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred upon me by the seventeenth section of “The Land Act, 1885,” and of all other powers enabling me in this behalf, do hereby declare that the land enumerated in the first column of the Schedule hereto shall be and the same is hereby reserved for the purpose stated opposite to the description of such land in the second column hereto, for the benefit of the Borough of Hamilton, as constituted under the provisions of “The Municipal Corporations Act, 1886,” on the twenty-fourth day of December, one thousand eight hundred and seventy-seven.

All that parcel of land in the Auckland Land District, containing by admeasurement 2 acres 2 roods 30 perches, more or less, being Sections Nos. 43, 44, and 45, Township of Hamilton West. Bounded towards the north-east by Hamilton Parade; towards the south-east by a public road; towards the south-west by Victoria Street; and towards the north-west by Section No. 42. Endowment in aid of the borough funds.
