50 links wide generally, traversing the Rangihapara Block (No. 3730, in red), the southern side of which commences at a point on the eastern side of the road (containing 1 rood 20 perches) hereinbefore described at a distance of 300 links or thereabouts from the southern boundary of the aforesaid block; and proceeds easterly for a distance of 805 links or thereabouts to its junction with a road which traverses the Opatito Block (No. 3774A, in red), (containing 2 roods 31 perches), hereinafter described.
As the same are delineated on Map No. 3822, deposited in the Survey Office, Auckland.
Date of Governor’s warrant, 15th November, 1883.
All that parcel of land in the Auckland Land District, containing by admeasurement 2 roods 31 perches, more or less, situate in the Waihou Survey District, being a road, 50 links wide, traversing the Opatito Block (No. 3774A, in red), the southern side of which commences at a point on the eastern boundary of the Rangihapara Block being the termination of the southern side of a road (containing 1 rood 23 perches), hereinbefore described, which traverses that block; and proceeds easterly for a distance of 1437 links or thereabouts to its junction with the Puke-Paeroa Road: as the same is delineated on Map No. 3822, deposited in the Survey Office, Auckland.

All that parcel of land in the Auckland Land District, containing by admeasurement 2 roods, more or less, situate in the Waihou Survey District, being a road, of irregular width, lying along the Waihou River, and within the Hape No. 2 Block (No. 4149, in red), the eastern side of which commences at a point on the southern boundary of the Rangihapara Block being the termination of the eastern side of a road (containing 1 rood 20 perches), hereinbefore described, which traverses that block; and proceeds southerly generally for a distance of 893 links or thereabouts to the southern boundary of the Hape No. 2 Block aforesaid, at a distance of 63 links or thereabouts from the Waihou River: as the same is delineated on Map No. 3822, deposited in the Survey Office, Auckland.

All that parcel of land in the Auckland Land District, containing by admeasurement 2 roods 12 perches, more or less, situate in the Waihou Survey District, being a road, 6¾ links wide and upwards, lying along the Waihou River, and within the Hape No. 1 Block (No. 3772, in red), the eastern side of which commences at a point on the northern boundary-line of the aforesaid block being the termination of the eastern side of a road (containing 2 roods), hereinbefore described, which traverses the western portion of the Hape No. 2 Block; and proceeds southerly generally for a distance of 1162·5 links or thereabouts to the creek which forms the southern boundary of the Hape No. 1 Block aforesaid, at a distance of 60 links or thereabouts from the Waihou River: as the same is delineated on Map No. 3822, deposited in the Survey Office, Auckland.

Proclaiming the Taking and Laying-off of a Road over Land in the Hawke’s Bay Land District.

A PROCLAMATION.
IN pursuance and in exercise of all powers and authorities enabling me in this behalf, I, William Hillier, Earl of Onslow, the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim that the road described in the Schedule hereto has been duly taken and laid off through the land specified, under warrant of the date given, in the said Schedule.

SCHEDULE.
ALL that area in the Land District of Hawke’s Bay, containing by admeasurement 20 acres and 6 perches, more or less, situate in Block XIV., Kuripapanga Survey District, and Block XIII., Patoka Survey District, being a road, 1 chain wide and upwards, traversing the Kohurau No. 1 Block, the north-eastern side of which commences at the angle-peg opposite traverse-peg xxxv., on the Napier–Patea Road; and proceeds south-easterly for a distance of 19618 links or thereabouts to its intersection by the northern boundary-line of Lot 1 of the Otamauri Block, at a point 1635·7 links north-west of traverse peg xiii.: be all the aforesaid linkages more or less; as the same is more particularly delineated on Plan No. 672, deposited in the Survey Office, Napier.

Also all that parcel of land in the Land District of Hawke’s Bay, containing by admeasurement 42 acres 3 roods 32 perches, more or less, situated in the Waiapu Survey District, being a road, 100 links wide and upwards, traversing Native land, the centre line of which commences at a point on the left bank of the Waiapu River marked C on Plan No. 266; and proceeds in a generally north-easterly direction for a distance of 41678·1 links to the Aruhe Mokopuna Block: as the same is delineated on Plans Nos. 266, 266A, and 266B, deposited in the Survey Office, Gisborne.
Also all that parcel of land in the Land District of Hawke’s Bay, containing by admeasurement 3 acres 1 rood 3 perches, more or less, situated in the Waiapu Survey District, being a road, 100 links wide, traversing Native land, the centre line of which commences at a point 67·4 links south-east of traverse-peg No. 21 of the road (containing 42 acres 3 roods 32 perches) hereinbefore described; and proceeds in a south-easterly direction for a distance of 3345 links to the Waiapu River: as the same is delineated on Plan No. 266A, deposited in the Survey Office, Gisborne.
Also all that parcel of land in the Land District of Hawke’s Bay, containing by admeasurement 1 acre 3 roods 20 perches, more or less, situated in the Waiapu Survey District, being a road, 100 links wide, traversing the Aruhe Mokopuna Block, the centre line of which commences at the termination of the road (containing 42 acres 2 roods 32 perches) hereinbefore described; and proceeds in a north-easterly direction for a distance of 1880·7 links, more or less, to the north-eastern boundary-line of the said Aruhe Mokopuna Block: as the same is delineated on Plan No. 266B, deposited in the Survey Office, Gisborne.
