Private Advertisements.
GAVIN GIBSON, DECEASED.
PURSUANT to the 59th section of “The Trusts Act, 1890,” notice is hereby given that all creditors and other persons having any claims or demands against the estate of GAVIN GIBSON, late of Elizabeth Street, in the City of Melbourne, in the Colony of Victoria, leather merchant, deceased, who died on the 20th day of June, 1888, and probate of whose will was granted by the Supreme Court of the said colony to the Trustees, Executors, and Agency Company (Limited), the executor appointed by the said will, are required to send in writing particulars of such claims and demands to the said Executor Company, at its registered office, No. 37, Queen Street, Melbourne aforesaid, on or before the 1st day of July, 1891, after which date the said Executor Company will distribute the assets of the said deceased amongst the persons entitled, having regard only to the claims and demands of which the said company shall then have had notice; and the said company will not be liable for the assets or any part thereof so distributed to any person of whose claim it shall not have had notice at the time of such distribution.

IN THE SUPREME COURT OF NEW ZEALAND,
OTAGO AND SOUTHLAND DISTRICT.
In the matter of “The Companies Act, 1882,” and the amendments thereof, and in the matter of MUNRO, HUTCHISON, AND Co. (LIMITED).
NOTICE is hereby given that a petition for the winding-up of the above-named company by the Supreme Court was, on the 19th day of May, 1891, presented to Mr. Justice Williams, the Judge of the Supreme Court assigned to the Otago and Southland District, by Margaret Marshall Risk, of Mornington, near Dunedin, Wife of Alexander Spiers Risk, of the same place, Compositor, a creditor of the said company; and the said petition is directed to be heard before a Judge of the said Court on the 5th day of June, 1891; and any creditor or contributory of the said company desirous to oppose the making of an order for the winding-up of the said company under the above Act should appear at the time of hearing, by himself or his counsel, for that purpose; and a copy of the petition will be furnished to any creditor or contributory of the said company requiring the same, by the undersigned, on payment of the regulated charge for the same.

NOTICE.
WHEREAS I, the undersigned, did, on the 8th day of May, 1891, receive a notice in writing as follows:—
“To the Public Trustee under ‘The Public Trust Office Act, 1872,’ Wellington.
“TAKE notice that it is the intention of the Equitable Insurance Association of New Zealand, under the powers in that behalf conferred by sections 17 and 18 of “The Life Assurance Companies Act, 1873,” after the expiration of six months from the receipt by you of this notice, to withdraw all securities deposited, whether voluntarily or compulsorily, with you under the provisions of the aforesaid Act, the said association having, except as to policies or contracts made before this date, ceased to carry on the business of life assurance in New Zealand.
“Dated at Dunedin, this 5th day of May, 1891.

Now this is to give notice to all whom it may concern that, under and by virtue and in pursuance of the provisions of section 18 of “The Life Assurance Companies Act, 1873,” I shall, on or after the 10th day of November, 1891, allow the withdrawal of all deposits made with me by the Equitable Insurance Association of New Zealand under the said Act, provided that the said company shall then or previously satisfy me, as required by subsections (2) and (3) of the said section 18.
