Declaring certain Roads in the Moa Road District to be
District Roads.
ONSLOW, Governor.
ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government Buildings, at Wellington, this eighth
day of May, 1891.
Present :
THE HONOURABLE THE PREMIER PRESIDING IN COUNCIL.
IN pursuance and in exercise of the powers vested in him
by "The Public Works Act, 1882," and of all other
powers in anywise enabling him in this behalf, His Excellency
the Right Honourable William Hillier, Earl of Onslow, the
Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, by and with the
advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said
colony, doth hereby order that the roads in the Moa Road
District, described in the Schedule below, shall, on and after
the date above mentioned, become district roads.
SCHEDULE.
THAT portion of the road known as Junction Road, including
all bridges on the same, which commences at Durham Road,
and proceeds in a generally easterly direction to Tarata
Bridge, over the Waitara River.
Also that road known as Kohete Road, which commences
at Tariki Road, and proceeds in a south-easterly direction to
Section No. 3, Block VII., Huiroa Survey District; all in
Taranaki County, Provincial District of Taranaki.
As the same are delineated on the plan marked S.G. 12673,
deposited in the General Survey Office, at Wellington, in the
Provincial District of Wellington, and thereon coloured red.

County Roads.

At the Government Buildings, at Wellington, this eighth
day of May, 1891.

Clifton, described in the Schedule below, shall, on and after
the date above mentioned, become county roads.
SCHEDULE.
THAT portion of the road known as Junction Road which
commences at Tarata Bridge, over the Waitara River, and
proceeds in a north-easterly direction to Mataro Road.
Also that road, known as Autawa Road, which commences
at Junction Road and proceeds in a south-easterly direction
to Pita Road.
Also that road, known as Pita Road, which commences at
Autawa Road and proceeds in an easterly direction to Pu-
keho Road.
Also that road, known as Pukeho Road, which commences
at Junction Road and proceeds in a southerly direction to
Pita Road.
Also that road, known as Oapui Road, which commences
at Junction Road and proceeds in a southerly direction to
the north-western corner of Section No. 9, Block IV., Huiroa
Survey District.
Also that road, known as Otaraoa Road, which commences
at Junction Road and proceeds in a northerly direction to
the northern boundary of Section No. 5, Block XV., Waitara
Survey District.
Also that road, known as Wiri Road, which commences at
Junction Road and proceeds in a westerly direction to Ota-
raoa Road.
All of the aforesaid roads are situated in Clifton County,
Provincial District of Taranaki, and delineated on the plan
marked S.G. 12673, deposited in the General Survey Office,
at Wellington, in the Provincial District of Wellington, and
thereon coloured red.

to be a District Road.

deposited in the General Survey Office, at Wellington, in the
Provincial District of Wellington, and thereon coloured red.

THE HONOURABLE THE PREMIER PRESIDING IN COUNCIL.
WHEREAS a petition has been presented to His Excel-
lency the Governor, signed by a majority of the
owners of sheep in the Golden Bay Subdivision of the Nelson
Sheep District (representing the ownership of not less than
two-thirds of the total number of sheep in the said subdivi-
sion), requesting that such subdivision may be exempted
from the operation of section sixty-seven of "The Sheep
Act, 1890:" And whereas it appears expedient to grant the
prayer of the said petition :
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Right Honourable
William Hillier, Earl of Onslow, the Governor of the Colony
of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the powers
