NOTICE is hereby given that a sitting of the Native Land Court will be held at Wellington on the 23rd day of May, 1891, to hear and determine the several matters mentioned in the Schedule hereunder written, in respect of which applications have been received by the Registrar, and all such other matters as may be lawfully brought before it.

Terms of Sale: One-fifth of the purchase-money to be paid at close of sale, and the balance (with Crown-grant fee, usually £1) within thirty days thereafter, otherwise the part of the purchase-money paid by way of deposit shall be forfeited, and the contract for the sale of the land shall henceforth be null and void.

Plans of the sections may be seen at the local post-offices and on application at this office.

Terms of Sale: One-fifth of the purchase-money to be paid on application, and the balance to the Receiver of Land Revenue, Wellington, within thirty days from date of sale, otherwise the deposit will be forwarded, and the contract for the sale of the land thenceforth will be null and void. Crown-grant fees to be paid on completion of the purchases. These sections will be sold without any limitations and restrictions as to area, conditions of occupation, and improvements, nor are declarations necessary. Maps can be seen at the principal post-offices in the district and at this office, where full particulars can also be obtained.

Sale of Pastoral Runs and Crown Lands in Otago.

THE under-mentioned Crown lands will be offered for sale by auction, at the Crown Lands Office, Dunedin, on Friday, the 29th May, 1891, at 11.30 a.m. :—

PASTORAL LICENSES (under Part VI. of “The Land Act, 1885”).

Runs 289, 338B, and 338C (grouped), Vincent County, about 43,970 acres; term, fourteen years. Upset rental, £30 per annum.

Run 24A, Clutha County, about 890 acres; term, ten years. Upset rental, £11 2s. 6d. per annum.

Maniototo District: Section 10, Block XV., about 420 acres; term, five years. Upset rental, £21 per annum.

Possession of the foregoing runs will be given on day of sale.

Purchasers will be required to pay the first half-year’s rent from day of sale, and £1 1s. license-fee, on fall of hammer.

SMALL GRAZING-RUN LEASES (under Part VII. of “The Land Act, 1885”).

Rock and Pillar District: Section 11, Block XII., about 2,470 acres; term, twenty-one years. Upset rental, £61 15s. per annum.

Rock and Pillar District: Section 12, Block XII., about 2,975 acres; term, twenty-one years. Upset rental, £74 7s. 6d. per annum; valuation for improvements, £119.

Highlay District: Section 6, Block VII., about 1,313 acres; term, twenty-one years. Upset rental, £32 16s. 6d. per annum.

Mount Hyde District: Section 1, Block I., and Section 17, Block II., about 575 acres; term, twenty-one years. Upset rental, £14 7s. 6d. per annum.
