specified in the fourth column, temporarily reserved under the authority of the said Act for the purposes specified in the second column of the said Schedule:

Now, therefore, I, William Hillier, Earl of Onslow, the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the power and authority vested in me by the said Act, do hereby permanently reserve the lands so temporarily reserved as aforesaid, and enumerated in the first column of the Schedule hereto, for the purposes specified in the second column of the said Schedule, being the same purposes for which the said lands were so temporarily reserved as aforesaid.

Shooting Season for Imported Game, License-fee, &c.,
Marlborough District.

ONSLOW, Governor.

IN exercise of the powers vested in me by “The Animals Protection Act, 1880,” and the Acts amending the same, I, William Hillier, Earl of Onslow, the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, do hereby notify that cock-pheasants, Californian quail, and hares may be taken or killed within the Marlborough District, consisting of the Counties of Marlborough and Sounds (except in the Wairau Lagoons and Lake Grassmere), from the first day of April, one thousand eight hundred and ninety-one, to the thirty-first day of July, one thousand eight hundred and ninety-one, both inclusive (subject nevertheless to the restrictions in the said Acts mentioned). And I do further notify that licenses to take or kill such game within the said district shall be issued on payment of the sum of twenty shillings each, and that licenses to sell game and native game shall be issued on payment of the sum of five pounds each; and the Chief Postmaster at Blenheim is hereby appointed to sign and issue the said licenses.

As witness the hand of His Excellency the Governor, this eleventh day of March, one thousand eight hundred and ninety-one.

Fixing Shooting Season for Deer, License-fee, &c., Marlborough District.

ONSLOW, Governor.

IN exercise of the powers vested in me by “The Animals Protection Act, 1880,” and “The Animals Protection Act Amendment Act, 1881,” I, William Hillier, Earl of Onslow, the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, do hereby notify that deer (bucks or stags only) may be taken or killed within the Marlborough District, comprising the Counties of Marlborough and Sounds, from the sixth day of March, one thousand eight hundred and ninety-one, to the seventeenth day of April, one thousand eight hundred and ninety-one, both inclusive (subject nevertheless to the restrictions in the said Acts mentioned); and I do further notify that licenses to take or kill such game within the said district shall be issued on payment of the sum of twenty shillings each, and that licenses to sell such game shall be issued on payment of five pounds each; and the Chief Postmaster at Blenheim is hereby appointed to issue the said licenses.

As witness the hand of His Excellency the Governor, this eleventh day of March, one thousand eight hundred and ninety-one.
