marina Survey Districts: Estimated area, 720 acres.
Goulter Bay, in Block I., Orieri Survey District: Esti-
mated area, 420 acres.
Between Kaiuma and Black Point, in Block V., Linkwater
Survey District: Estimated area, 380 acres.
Kaiuma Bay, in Block V., Linkwater Survey District:
Estimated area, 240 acres.
Hikapu Reach, at northern end of Claverton Run, in
Block I., Linkwater Survey District: Estimated area, 240
acres.
Upset annual rent, 3d. an acre. Boundaries and areas
subject to modification after survey.
Half a year's rent and £1 1s. for the lease to be paid on
the fall of the hammer in each case.

PASTORAL LICENSES, UNDER PART VI. OF “THE LAND
ACT, 1885.”

Wellington Head, Arapawa Island, Arapawa and Gore
Survey Districts: In two runs; estimated area, 1,800 acres
and 2,000 acres respectively; term, twenty-one years.
Upset annual rent, 1d. an acre.
Waitohi Valley, Linkwater Survey District: Estimated
area, 270 acres; term, ten years. Upset annual rent, 1d.
an acre.
Waitohi Valley, Linkwater and Cloudy Bay Survey Dis-
tricts: Estimated area, 640 acres; term, ten years. Upset
annual rent, 1d. an acre.
Pickersgill Island, Gore Survey District: Estimated area,
200 acres (being all the Crown land on Pickersgill Island);
term, ten years. Upset annual rent, 1d. an acre.
Peloros Valley, Wakamarina Survey District (part of the
late Paul's run): Estimated area, 520 acres; term, ten
years. Upset annual rent, £5 8s. 4d.
All the unoccupied Crown land on the Boulder Bank,
Wairau, between the Bluff and the mouth of the Wairau
River, Clifford Bay Survey District: Estimated area, 400
acres; term, three years, with the right of resumption with-
out compensation, at any time after three months' notice;
the public to have the general right of free ingress and
egress to and from and over any portion of the land. Upset
annual rent, £2.
Licensees of the above runs to have the boundaries laid
off at their own expense when required to do so by the
Land Board.

Portion of the late Awatere Clearing Reserve, Hodder
Survey District: Section 1, Block IV., 3,193 acres; term,
ten years. Upset annual rent, £75.

Half a year's rent and £1 1s. license-fee to be paid on the
fall of the hammer in each case.

RESERVE TO BE LET FOR PASTORAL PURPOSES, UNDER SEC-
TION 25 OF “THE PUBLIC RESERVES ACT, 1881.”

Cape Koamaroo Reserves, Gore Survey District: Esti-
mated area, 530 acres; term, ten years, but terminable at
any time after twelve months' notice, without compensation;
licensee to have the boundaries laid off at his own expense,
when required. Upset annual rent, 1d. an acre.

1st July, 1896.

Pine Valley and Mount Olympus Survey Districts, North
Bank of Wairau: Estimated area, 12,700 acres. Annual
rent, ½d. an acre.
The licensee to have the boundaries laid off at his own
expense, if required to do so by the Land Board.

SMALL GRAZING RUNS, UNDER PART VII. OF “THE LAND
ACT, 1885.”

Orieri Survey District, Maori Bay: Sections 2 and 3,
Block IV., 744 acres. Annual rent, 3d. an acre.

  • Orieri Survey District, Pokokini Bay: Estimated area,
    800 acres. Annual rent, 3d. an acre.
  • Linkwater Survey District, Mud Bay: Estimated area,
    800 acres. Annual rent, 3d. an acre.
  • Area and boundaries subject to adjustment after survey.
    A fee of £1 1s. for the license or lease and half a year's
    rent, and, in the case of the small grazing runs, the usual
    statutory declaration, must be deposited with the applica-
    tion.
