October.—Fine generally, with light showers early part of
month; showery during middle and end of month; the
maximum rainfall recorded on 18th, 1·70in. Prevailing N.W.
wind and generally strong; on twenty days stormy from that
quarter; hail on 26th. Maximum temperature in shade, 67·3;
minimum, 42. Mean temperature of dewpoint, 46·3; mean
humidity, 70.

auction, at this office, on Tuesday, the 16th day of Decem-
ber, 1890, at the hour of 11 o'clock in the forenoon.

Description of Land: These lots are first-class lands in
grass and well watered, adjoining the railway at Pukekohe

Description of Land: Undulating clay land, covered with
mixed bush, situated upon Mangakino Creek. There are
about 80,000ft. of kauri on the section, and a partly-finished
house, worth about £17.

Description of Land: All very broken forest land of poor

about 600,000ft. The timber-access is by the Taupiri Creek
into Whananaki Inlet.

Parish of Ruakaka.

Description of Land: Very broken forest land, containing
about 225 kauri trees. The timber is difficult to get out.

Plans of the sections may be seen, and further informa-
tion obtained, on application at the Crown Lands Office,
Customs Street, Auckland.

paid at time of sale, and the balance within thirty days
