Coromandel County.

All that parcel of land in the Auckland Land District, situate in Blocks I. and II., Harataunga Survey District, and containing approximately 1,577 acres. Bounded towards the north-east generally by the sea; towards the south-east by the Moehau No. 1 or Waikawau Block; and towards the west generally by the Tangiaronui Block, by Sections Nos. 4, 2, and 1 of Block I., Harataunga Survey District, and by the Pakautukua Block to the point of commencement.

Description of Land: This land is open land, generally very poor barren land, and precipitous towards the sea-face. Cash price, 5s. per acre.

A PROCLAMATION.

IN pursuance and exercise of the power and authority vested in the Governor by “The Registration of Births and Deaths Act, 1875,” I, William Hillier, Earl of Onslow, the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, do hereby abolish the existing registration districts known as the Turanga, Opotiki, and Wairoa Districts; and do proclaim and declare that the territory heretofore comprised within the said districts is hereby divided anew into four registration districts, the names whereof shall be the Waiapu, Gisborne, Opotiki, and Wairoa Districts, and the boundaries whereof shall be coterminous with the boundaries of the marriage districts bearing the same names as are set forth in a Proclamation of even date herewith, made under the provisions of “The Marriage Act, 1880.”

And I hereby declare that this Proclamation shall come into operation on the first day of September, in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and ninety.

WAIAPU DISTRICT.

All that area in the County of Cook, in the Provincial District of Auckland, bounded towards the north and east by the ocean, from Cape Runaway to Anaura Bay; thence by that bay to the mouth of the Waipari; thence towards the south-east by that stream to the northern boundary of the Akauroa Block; thence by the said Akauroa Block and its northern boundary-line produced across the Hikuwai River; thence again towards the east by that river and the Uawa River to the Mangatokerau No. 1 Block; thence towards the south-west by the last-mentioned block, Run No. 46, and Crown land in the Mangatokerau Block to Rimu Tutahi Trig. Station; thence by Section No. 1, Block XIII., Tokomaru Survey District, to the northernmost corner of that section; thence by a right line to Trig. Station 170, Tutamoe East Survey District; thence by a right line to Trig. Station 178 of the said Tutamoe East Survey District; thence by a right line to Trig. Station 139, Arowhana Survey District; thence towards the north-west by a right line to Arowhana Trig. Station; thence by a right line to Kapua Trig. Station; thence by a right line to the summit of Hikurangi Mountain; and thence towards the west by a right line to Cape Runaway aforesaid, the place of commencement.

GISBORNE DISTRICT.

All that area in the County of Cook, in the Provincial District of Auckland, bounded towards the north-east by a right line from Trig. Station 139, Arowhana Survey District, to Trig. Station 178, Tutamoe East Survey District; thence by a right line to Trig. Station 170 of the said Tutamoe East Survey District; thence by a right line to the northernmost corner of Section No. 1, Block XIII., Tokomaru Survey District; thence by the Tauwhareparae Blocks to the Uawa River; thence towards the west by the right bank of the said Uawa River and the right bank of the Hikuwai River to a point in line with the southern boundary-line of the Taumata Patiti Block; thence towards the north-west by a right line to the south-western corner of that block; thence by the Taumata Patiti Block aforesaid and the left bank of the Waipari Stream to Anaura Bay; thence towards the south-east by the said Anaura Bay and the ocean to Paritu; thence towards the south-west by a right line to the confluence of the Ruakituri River with the Hangaroa River; thence by the said Ruakituri River to the confluence of the Mangarewarewa Stream with that river; thence by a right line to Trig. Station 93, Tuahu Survey District; thence by a right line to Maungapohatu; thence again towards the north-west by a right line to Maungata-pere; thence again towards the south-west by a right line to the source of the Koranga River; thence by that river to the north-western boundary-line of the Motu Block; thence again towards the north-west by that boundary-line to the Motu River; thence by the said Motu River to a point in line with a right line connecting Trig. Stations 140 and 139; thence by a right line to the said Trig. Station 140; and thence by a right line to Trig. Station 139 aforesaid, the place of commencement.
