TAIERI.

This district is bounded towards the north by the Mount Ida Electoral District, hereinbefore described ; towards the east generally by the Dunedin Suburbs Electoral District, hereinbefore described ; towards the south-east by the ocean to the mouth of the Taieri River ; towards the south-west generally by the said Taieri River to Waipori Lake ; thence by the said Waipori Lake to the Waipori River ; thence by the said Waipori River to the western boundary of the Maungatua Survey District ; thence towards the west by a line drawn due north to a point due west of Trig. Station F, Maungatua Survey District ; thence towards the north by a right line to the said Trig. Station F ; thence again towards the west by a line drawn due north to Section No. 2 (pre-emptive right), Block VIII., Maungatua Survey District ; and thence again towards the north by the said Section No. 2 and Section No. 3 of the said Block VIII., and by the south-eastern boundary-line of the said Section No. 3 produced to the left bank of Lee Stream : including Green Island and adjacent islands, and Taieri Island.

BRUCE.

This district is bounded towards the north-west generally by Crook Burn from its confluence with the Clutha River to the road which forms the south-eastern boundary of Section No. 13, Black XI., Waitahuna West Survey District ; thence by that road, and the road which forms the south-eastern boundaries of Sections Nos. 14 and 15 of the said Block XI., and by the road which forms the south-eastern boundary of Section No. 10, and the southern boundaries of Sections Nos. 9 and 8, Block IX., of the said Waitahuna West Survey District, to the road which forms the north-western boundary of Section No. 15 of the said Block IX. ; thence by that road to the northernmost corner of the said Section No. 15 ; thence towards the north-east by Section No. 1 of the said Block IX., and by Sections Nos. 1, 2, 3, 14, 15, 16, 17, and 18, Block VII., of the said Waitahuna West Survey District, and the south-western boundary-line of last-mentioned section produced to the Waitahuna River ; thence again towards the north-west by that river to a point in line with the north-eastern boundary-line of Section No. 6, Block VII., Waitahuna East Survey District ; thence again towards the south-west by a right line to the south-eastern corner of that section ; thence by the said Section No. 6 ; thence again towards the north-west by the said Section No. 6, and Sections Nos. 9 and 80, a road, and Sections Nos. 1,

82, and 81, all of the said Block VII., by a road fronting Section No. 2, and by Section No. 10, Block X., of the said Waitahuna East Survey District ; thence again towards the north-east by the last-mentioned section, and by Section No. 44 of the said Block X., to the Waitahuna River ; and thence again towards the north-west by that river to a point in line with the northern boundary-line of Section No. 1, Block IX., Waipori Survey District ; thence towards the north-east by a right line to that boundary-line ; thence by the said northern boundary-line to Waitahuna Hill, and thence by the summit of the watershed over Trig. Stations K, J, and G of the said Waipori Survey District to the north-western boundary-line of the West Taieri Hundred, and thence again towards the north-west by that boundary-line to the left bank of the Waipori River ; thence again towards the north-east generally by the Taieri Electoral District, hereinbefore described, to the ocean ; thence towards the south-east by the ocean to the mouth of the Koau Branch of the Clutha River ; and thence towards the south-west generally by the said Koau Branch and the Clutha River to the south-eastern boundary-line of the Borough of Balclutha ; thence by the said Borough of Balclutha to the said Clutha River ; and thence again towards the south-west by that river to the mouth of the said Crook Burn.

CLUTHA.

This district is bounded towards the north-east by the Argyle Burn from its confluence with the Wakaia River to the southern boundary of Switzer’s Commonage ; thence towards the north by the said commonage to the Umbrella Mountains ; thence again towards the north-east and north-west by the summit of the said Umbrella Mountains to Black Umbrella (Trig. Station K) ; thence by the summit of the range to the source of Leithen River ; thence by that river to its confluence with the Pomahaka River ; thence by the said Pomahaka River to the confluence of Back Creek with that river ; thence by the said Back Creek to a point due west of Trig. Station D, Rankleburn Survey District ; thence again towards the north by a line due east to the left bank of the Clutha River ; thence again towards the north-east generally by the left bank of the said Clutha River to Crook Burn ; thence by the Bruce Electoral District, hereinbefore described, to the ocean ; thence towards the south-east by the ocean to Chasland’s Mistake ; thence towards the west generally by a right line to Black Horn ; thence by the summit of the watershed over Bleak Hill, the Chimney, and Flower-pot to Catlin’s Cone ; thence by a right line to the source of the Waipahi River in Section No. 1, Block XI., Kuriwao Survey District ; thence by the said Waipahi River to where it is crossed by the main road from Dunedin to Invercargill ; thence towards the south by that road to the Town District of Mataura ; thence by that town district to the Mataura River ; thence again towards the north-west by that river to the confluence of the Waikaka River with the said Mataura River ; thence by the said Waikaka River to a point due south of the easternmost corner of Section No. 16, Block XXV., of the Town of East Gore ; thence towards the west by a line due north to the north side of Talbot Street, in the said town ; thence again towards the south by the said Talbot Street to Section No. 3 of Block XXIV. of the said Town of East Gore ; thence by the said Section No. 3 and Sections Nos. 2 and 1 of the said Block XXIV. to Wentworth Street, and thence by the crossing of that street and by Boundary Road to the said Mataura River ; thence again towards the south-west generally by that river to the mouth of the Wakaia River ; and thence again towards the north-west by the said Wakaia River to the mouth of the said Argyle Burn.

TUAPEKA.

This district is bounded towards the north and north-east by the Mount Ida Electoral District, hereinbefore described ; towards the east by the Taieri Electoral District, hereinbefore described ; towards the south-east by the Bruce Electoral District, hereinbefore described ; towards the south-west generally by the Clutha Electoral District, hereinbefore described, to the summit of the Black Umbrella Mountains at the south-east corner of the Switzer’s Commonage ; and thence towards the north-west by the summit of the said Umbrella Mountains to a point due east of Rocky Mount.

MATAURA.

This district is bounded towards the north-east generally by the Clutha Electoral District, hereinbefore described, from the mouth of the Wakaia River to the ocean ; towards the south by the ocean to a point in line with the western boundary-line of Block VII., Invercargill Hundred ; thence towards the west by a right line to the said western boundary-line of Block VII., and thence by that boundary-line to Block V. of the said Invercargill Hundred ; thence towards the north-west by the said Block V. and Block VI. of the said Invercargill Hundred to the eastern boundary-line of the latter block ; thence towards the south-west by the said
