First Meeting of New Plymouth High School Board.

T is hereby notified that His Excellency the Governor
has, in pursuance of section 7 of "The New Plymouth
High School Act, 1889," directed that the first meeting of
the Board of Governors constituted by the said Act shall be
held at the Education Board Office, New Plymouth, on
Wednesday, the 23rd day of October instant, at 11 o'clock
a.m.

sentatives for the Electoral District of Waipa.
IN compliance with the provisions of the sixty-first section
of "The Regulation of Elections Act, 1881," I hereby
notify that
Major WILLIAM JACKSON,
a Member of the House of Representatives for the Electoral
District Waipa, died on the 29th day of September, 1889,
and that the said seat in the House of Representatives for
the said electoral district is vacant by reason of such death.
