IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities
vested in me by the sixth section of "The Cemeteries
Act, 1882," I, William Hillier, Earl of Onslow, the Governor
of the Colony of New Zealand, do hereby appoint the several
persons whose names are specified in the first column of
the Schedule hereto to be Trustees to provide for the main-
tenance and care of the public cemetery specified in the
second column of the said Schedule.

WAIPAHI.
All that parcel of land in the Pro-
vincial District of Otago, contain-
ing by admeasurement 5 acres, more
or less, situate in the Waipahi Dis-
trict, and being Section No. 76 of
Block VII. of said district. Bounded
towards the north by Section No.
27 of Block VIII., 700 links; to-
wards the north-east by a road-line,
700 links; towards the south by
Section No. 52 of Block VII. of
same district, 1141.8 links; and
towards the west by said Section
No. 52, 543 links: be all the afore-
said linkages more or less.

As witness the hand of His Excellency the Governor,
this fourteenth day of September, one thousand
eight hundred and eighty-nine.

THE following special order, made by the Manawatu
Road Board, is published in accordance with "The
Road Boards Act, 1882."

SPECIAL ORDER.

RESOLVED, That, for the purpose of providing interest and
other annual charges on a loan of Β£500 for the continuation
of the Middle Aorangi Road, a special rate of one halfpenny
in the pound be levied on the rateable value of the following
properties, viz.: Sections 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 6A, 7 (and all the
parts thereof), 8, and 9, Block XII., Te Kawau. Such rate
to be an annually-recurring rate for a period of twenty-six
years, payable in two instalments, viz., on the 1st day of May
and the 1st day of November in each year.

I hereby certify that the foregoing special order was duly
passed by the Manawatu Road Board, at a meeting held on
the 9th day of September, 1889.
