provided, do hereby declare that the rural lands enumerated
in the Schedule hereto shall be open for sale or selection,
after the lapse of a period of not less than forty-five days
from the date of the first public notification hereof, in the manner
and upon the conditions mentioned in the said Act,
and at the price per acre stated in the said Schedule.
This notification will revoke so much of the notification
dated the first day of February, one thousand eight hundred
and eighty-eight (published in Gazette No. 8, of the second
day of February, one thousand eight hundred and eighty-
eight), as relates to the sections enumerated in the Schedule
hereto.

"The Licensing Act Amendment Act, 1882."

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities
vested in me in that behalf by "The Licensing Act
Amendment Act, 1882," I, William Hillier, Earl of Onslow, the Governor
of the Colony of New Zealand, do hereby
appoint Henry William Northcroft, Esquire, Resident Magis-
trate of the District of Hauraki, to exercise, in terms of
section fifteen of the said Act, a special authority in the
granting of publicans' licenses within the district the limits
of which are defined in the Schedule hereto.
SCHEDULE.
ALL that area in Coromandel County, situate in the Survey
Districts of Coromandel and Otama, bounded towards the
north, the north-east, and south-east by the sea, from Opito-
nui Stream, Whangapoua Harbour, to Ohuka Point, Mercury
Bay; and thence towards the south-west by a right line to
the mouth of the Opitonui Stream aforesaid.
As witness the hand of His Excellency the Governor,
this sixteenth day of September, one thousand
eight hundred and eighty-nine.

Act"), I, William Hillier, Earl of Onslow, the Governor of the
Colony of New Zealand, having received the report of the
Surveyor-General in this behalf, as in the said section is

MANUKAU COUNTY.โUNSURVEYED LAND.
ALL that parcel of land in the Auckland Land District
situate in the Parish of Maungatawhiri, and containing
approximately 795 acres. Bounded towards the north-east
by a public road; towards the south-east by Sections Nos. 113,
195, 4A, and 120 of the Parish of Maungatawhiri aforesaid;
towards the west by Sections Nos. 176, 178, and 180 of the
same parish; towards the south by the last-named section;
again towards the west by a public road; towards the north
by Section No. 104, of the said parish; and towards the west
by the last-mentioned section and by Section No. 103 of the
same parish to the point of commencement.
Cash price, 10s. per acre.
Description of Land: Very broken forest land of medium
quality, about six miles from Pokeno.
