All that parcel of land in
the Wairoa District, contain-
ing 16 acres 1 rood 38 perches,
and known by the name of
Allotment 72, Section 405,
Block XII., Wairoa Survey
District.

Removal of Restrictions on Alienation of Native Land.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government House, at Wellington, this second day
of September, 1889.
Present:
HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR IN COUNCIL.
WHEREAS application has been made to the Governor
in Council by Himiona Taiki, the Native owner of
the land described in the second column of the Schedule
hereto, praying that the restrictions on the alienation of
such lands contained in the Crown grant, bearing date the
fifteenth day of July, one thousand eight hundred and eighty,
described in the first column of the said Schedule, may be
removed: And whereas it appears expedient to grant such
application:
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Right Honourable
William Hillier, Earl of Onslow, the Governor of the Colony
of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the powers
conferred on him by "The Native Land Act, 1888," and
acting with the advice and consent of the Executive Council
of the said colony, doth hereby order and declare that all
restrictions imposed by the said Crown grant on the alienation
of the said lands are hereby removed.

Rangipupu, the Native owner of the land described in the
second column of the Schedule hereto, praying that the
restrictions on the alienation of such lands contained in the
Crown grant, bearing date the twentieth day of February,
one thousand eight hundred and eighty-four, described in
the first column of the said Schedule, may be removed:
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Right Honourable
William Hillier, Earl of Onslow, the Governor of the Colony
of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the powers
conferred on him by "The Native Land Act, 1888," and
acting with the advice and consent of the Executive Council
of the said colony, doth hereby order and declare that all
restrictions imposed by the said Crown grant on the aliena-
tion of the said lands are hereby removed.

Wiremu Otaki, comprising a majority in number of the
Native owners of the land described in the second column
of the Schedule hereto, praying that the restrictions on the
alienation of such lands contained in the Crown grant,
bearing date the thirteenth day of March, one thousand eight
hundred and seventy-two, described in the first column of
the said Schedule, may be removed: And whereas it appears
expedient to grant such application:
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Right Honourable
William Hillier, Earl of Onslow, the Governor of the Colony
of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the powers
conferred on him by "The Native Land Act, 1888," and
acting with the advice and consent of the Executive Council
of the said colony, doth hereby order and declare that all
restrictions imposed by the said Crown grant on the aliena-
tion of the said lands are hereby removed.

BY virtue of the powers and authorities vested in me by
the fifteenth section of "The New Zealand State
Forest Act, 1885," I, William Hillier, Earl of Onslow, the
Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, by and with the
advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said
colony, do hereby repeal number thirteen of the regulations
under "The New Zealand State Forest Act, 1885," made by
Order in Council issued on the first day of October, one
