the same to be true, and by virtue of "The Justices of the
Peace Act, 1882."

I, the undersigned, hereby make application to register
the Onamalutu Gold-mining Company (Limited) as a
Limited Company, under the provisions of "The Mining
Companies Act, 1886."
- The name of the company is to be the Onamalutu
Gold-mining Company (Limited). - The place of operations is at Onamalutu, in the Marl-
borough Mining District. - The registered office of the company will be situated
at Blenheim. - The nominal capital of the company is ten thousand
pounds, in ten thousand shares of one pound each. - The number of shares subscribed for is nine thousand
five hundred, being not less than two-thirds of the entire
number of shares in the company. - The number of paid-up shares is nil.
- The amount already paid up is four hundred and
seventy-five pounds, being one shilling per share on the
shares subscribed for. - The name of the Manager is Edward Mead.

Limited Company, under the provisions of "The Mining
Companies Act, 1886."
- The name of the company is to be the Southern Cross
Gold-mining Company (Limited). - The place of operations is at Waikakaho, in the Marl-
borough Mining District. - The registered office of the company will be situated at
Blenheim. - The nominal capital of the company is fourteen thou-
sand pounds, in fourteen thousand shares of one pound each. - The number of shares subscribed for is fourteen thou-
sand, being not less than two-thirds of the entire number of
shares in the company. - The number of paid-up shares is nil.
- The amount already paid up is one thousand four hun-
dred pounds, being two shillings per share. - The name of the Manager is John Hutcheson.
