VOLUNTEER HALL COMPANY (LIMITED), GREY-
MOUTH, IN LIQUIDATION.
NOTICE is hereby given that, at a general meeting of
shareholders in the above company, held on Thurs-
day, the 8th August, 1889, for the purpose of considering the
Liquidator's account of winding up the company, the follow-
ing resolution was passed:---
"That, in the opinion of this meeting, the affairs of the
Volunteer Hall Company (Limited), Greymouth, have been
fairly wound up."

residing in Auckland, having deposited evidence of my
qualifications with the Registrar of Births, Deaths, and
Marriages at Auckland, hereby give notice that I intend to
apply to him to be registered under "The New Zealand
Medical Practitioners Act, 1869," on the 24th day of Sep-
tember, 1889.

DISSOLUTION OF PARTNERSHIP.
NOTICE is hereby given that the Partnership heretofore
carried on by the undersigned, WALTER KNOWLES
and PETER JAMES HERVEY, at Wellington, under the style
or firm of "Knowles and Hervey," as Commission Agents,
was dissolved as from the 31st day of July, 1889, by mutual
consent. All debts due to and by the late partnership will
be received and paid by the said Walter Knowles, who will
continue the business under the style of "Knowles and
Hervey."

NOTICE is hereby given that the Partnership lately exist-
ing between JOHN BROOKS, of Riverside, Churchill,
in the Provincial District of Auckland, New Zealand, Farmer,
and FREDERICK BROOKS and RICHARD WARNER BROOKS,
both of Birmingham, England, Merchants, has been dis-
solved.

SUBSCRIPTIONS. - The subscription is at the rate of 30s.
per annum, PAYABLE IN ADVANCE. A less period than
three months cannot be subscribed for.
Single copies of the Gazette, 6d. each.
Advertisements are charged at the uniform rate of 6d. per
line for each insertion.
For half-yearly statements under the Mining Act the
charge is 23s.
All advertisements should be written on one side of the
paper, and signatures, &c., should be written in a legible
hand.
The number of insertions required must be written across
the face of the advertisement.
The New Zealand Gazette is published on Thursday even-
ing in each week, and notices for insertion must be received
by the Government Printer before two o'clock of the day
preceding publication.
Communications should be addressed to the Government
Printer, Wellington, to whom post office money orders should
be made payable.
Postage or duty stamps cannot be received in payment
from any place at which postal notes or post office orders are
issued.
Booksellers and Advertising Agents will be allowed a com-
mission at the rate of 5 per cent.
NO ADVERTISEMENT WILL BE INSERTED WITHOUT PREPAY-
MENT BEING MADE.
