IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities
vested in me by the sixth section of "The Cemeteries
Act, 1882," I, William Hillier, Earl of Onslow, the Governor
of the Colony of New Zealand, do hereby appoint

RICHARD MCDOWELL

to be a Trustee, in the place of Richard Pitkin, resigned,
to provide for the maintenance and care of the Weedon
Cemetery, in conjunction with the other persons appointed
by warrant under the hand of His Excellency the Governor
on the twenty-fourth day of June, one thousand eight
hundred and seventy-nine.

As witness the hand of His Excellency the Governor,
this thirty-first day of May, one thousand eight
hundred and eighty-nine.

ARTHUR MASY, Esq.,

to act as Belgian Consul at Auckland, received Her Majesty's
signature on the 11th April last, and that Her Majesty's
approval of the appointment appeared in the London Gazette
of the 12th April.
