Removal of Restrictions on Alienation of Native Land.
ONSLOW, Governor.
ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government House, at Wellington, this fourth day
of June, 1889.
Present:
HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR IN COUNCIL.
WHEREAS application has been made to the Governor
in Council by Agnes Simeon, the Native owner of
the land described in the second column of the Schedule
hereto, praying that the restrictions on the alienation of
such lands contained in the certificate of title, bearing date
the tenth day of May, one thousand eight hundred and eighty-
nine, described in the first column of the said Schedule, may
be removed: And whereas it appears expedient to grant
such application:
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Right Honourable
William Hillier, Earl of Onslow, the Governor of the Colony
of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the powers
conferred on him by "The Native Land Act, 1888," and
acting with the advice and consent of the Executive Council
of the said colony, doth hereby order and declare that all
restrictions imposed by the said certificate of title on the
alienation of the said lands are hereby removed.

containing respectively the
following restrictions: "In-
alienable by sale or mort-
gage, or by lease beyond
twenty-one years;" and, "Inalienable
by sale or mortgage, or by lease
beyond twenty-one years."
Also 3 roods 13 perches,
situate at Polhill's Gully,
being Subdivision 1 of Sec-
tion 11, City of Wellington.

hereto, praying that the restrictions on the aliena-
tion of such lands contained in the two certificates of title,
bearing date respectively the sixth day of March and tenth
day of May, one thousand eight hundred and eighty-nine,
described in the first column of the said Schedule, may be
removed: And whereas it appears expedient to grant such
application:
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Right Honourable
William Hillier, Earl of Onslow, the Governor of the Colony
of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the powers
conferred on him by "The Native Land Act, 1888," and
acting with the advice and consent of the Executive Council
of the said colony, doth hereby order and declare that all

HIS EXCELLENCY THE ADMINISTRATOR OF THE GOVERN-
MENT IN COUNCIL.
WHEREAS the lands mentioned in the Schedule hereto
are required to be taken for a public work, to wit,
the construction of a road in the Otaki Road District:
And whereas the said lands are held or occupied by Native
owners:
Now, therefore, in pursuance and exercise of the powers
conferred by "The Public Works Act, 1882," and the
amendments thereof, and of all other powers in anywise
enabling him in this behalf, His Excellency the Adminis-
trator of the Government of the Colony of New Zealand,
by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council
of the said colony, doth hereby order that the public work
hereinbefore mentioned shall and may be constructed on or
through the parcels of land more particularly mentioned in
the Schedule hereto.
