Victoria, Journalist, and JOSEPH SNOWBALL, of Princes
Wharf, South Melbourne, Victoria, Merchant, have deposited
at this office a specification of an invention for an improve-
ment in the art of typographic printing, whereby the setting
or composing of type is avoided.

No. 3711. -WILLIAM HALES TURNER, of Tunstall, Stafford,
England, Earthenware Manufacturer, has deposited at this
office a specification of an invention for improvements in or
relating to nose-bags.

And I have appointed Tuesday, the 6th day of August next,
at 11 o'clock in the forenoon, at this office, to hear the
said applications and all objections thereto; and I require all
persons having an interest in opposing the grant of any such
Letters Patent to leave, on or before the 22nd day of July
next, at this office, particulars in writing of their objections
to any of the said applications, otherwise they will be pre-
cluded from urging the same.

Dissolution of Company.

In the matter of "The Companies Act, 1882," and in the
matter of the affidavit and application of Edwin Fountain
and Thomas Napier, of the Hororata Steam Threshing
Company (Limited).

I HEREBY notify that no objection to such application
having been made and lodged with me as by the said
Act required, I do now declare such company to be
dissolved.

the 16th day of April, 1889, and postponed to the 28th instant,

NATIVE LAND COURT, NEW ZEALAND:
DISTRICT OF AUCKLAND.

IN the matter of a decision of the Court given at Rotorua
on the 20th day of August, 1887, upon hearing of a
claim for investigation of title to land known as Roto-
mahana Parekarangi; and in the matter of an application
by Wiripine Marino and others for a rehearing upon such
claim, so far as affects the land called Tumunui, part of
Rotomahana Parekarangi, included within the following
boundary: Commencing at Te Whakahoranga; thence along
the eastern side of Te Panepane and Tutaeheka; turns
thence to the south-east, Mangakara, Takutaina, Pareheru
East; turns thence to the south, Tuteehu, Kiwitahi, Te
Patehe; turns thence to the west; thence along the river
Otamakokori, Te Pa-a-te-Atua, Reretahi, Ngahuinga; turns
thence to the north-east, Karapiti, Ketemongamonga, Te
Hapeorakau, Whaowhaotaha, Te Mimi, Okurakaiata; turns
thence to the east, Te Mania-i-a-Kootee, Te Heke, Te Kiri-
kiri, Pohaturoa; thence along the lake to Motutawa, Para-
houhou, Te Hinau; thence to Te Whakahoronga again:

Upon inquiry in open Court as to the said application for
rehearing, held at Rotorua on the 15th and 16th days of
April, 1889, by the Chief Judge, assisted by Urupene
Puhara, an Assessor of the Court:

I, Hugh Garden Seth Smith, Chief Judge of the said
Court, in exercise of the authority in that behalf vested in
me, do hereby order that a rehearing upon such claim be
had, at a time and place to be hereafter notified, to deter-
mine the relative interests of the Ngatitumatawera, Ngati-
kahu, and Tuhourangi Tribes in that portion of the
Rotomahana Parekarangi Block known as Tumunui, in-
cluded within the above-described boundary, and to define
the boundaries of such relative interests.

Dated this 16th day of April, 1889.

April, 1889, by the Chief Judge, assisted by Urupene Puhara,
an Assessor of the Court:

I, Hugh Garden Seth Smith, Chief Judge of the said
Court, in exercise of the authority in that behalf vested in
me, do hereby dismiss such application.
