Notifying that the New Zealand Academy of Fine Arts
may be registered as a Limited Company without the
Addition of the Word "Limited."

At the Government House, at Wellington, this twenty-
third day of March, 1889.
Present:
HIS EXCELLENCY THE ADMINISTRATOR OF THE GOVERNMENT
IN COUNCIL.

IN exercise and pursuance of the powers and authorities
vested in him by "The Companies Act, 1882," His
Excellency the Administrator of the Government of the
Colony of New Zealand, acting with the advice and con-
sent of the Executive Council of the said colony, doth
hereby direct that the association about to be formed under
the said Act as a limited company under the name of the
New Zealand Academy of Fine Arts may, on application
for that purpose, be registered with limited liability without
the addition of the word "Limited" to its name.

Removal of Restrictions on Alienation of Native Land.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government House, at Wellington, this twenty-
third day of March, 1889.
Present:
HIS EXCELLENCY THE ADMINISTRATOR OF THE GOVERNMENT
IN COUNCIL.

WHEREAS application has been made to the Admini-
strator of the Government in Council by Kuraheke
Pumipi, the Native owner of the land described in the
second column of the Schedule hereto, praying that the
restrictions on the alienation of such lands contained in the
certificates of title, bearing date the sixth day of March, one
thousand eight hundred and eighty-nine, described in the
first column of the said Schedule, may be removed: And
whereas it appears expedient to grant such application:

Now, therefore, His Excellency Sir James Prendergast,
Administrator of the Government of the Colony of New
Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred
on him by "The Native Land Act, 1888," and acting with
the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said
colony, doth hereby order and declare that all restrictions
imposed by the said certificate of title on the alienation of
the said lands are hereby removed.

Governor."

All those parcels of land
containing respectively 1 acre
0 rood 10 perches and 1 acre,
situate at Polhill's Gully,
being Sections 26 and 15 on
the plan of the City of Wel-
lington.

Shooting Season for Imported Game, License Fee, &c.,
Wellington District.

IN exercise of the powers vested in me by "The Animals
Protection Act, 1880," and the Acts amending the same,
I, William Francis Drummond Jervois, the Governor of the
Colony of New Zealand, do hereby notify that cock-
pheasants, Californian quail, and hares may be taken or

killed within the Wellington District, consisting of the
Counties of Hutt, Wairarapa North, Pahiatua, Wairarapa
South, and Horowhenua, together with all town districts and
boroughs therein, from the eighteenth day of April, one thou-
sand eight hundred and eighty-nine, to the thirty-first day of
July, one thousand eight hundred and eighty-nine, both
inclusive (subject nevertheless to the restrictions in the said
Acts mentioned). And I do further notify that licenses to
take or kill such game within the said district shall be issued
on payment of the sum of twenty shillings each, and that
licenses to sell such game shall be issued on payment of the
sum of five pounds each; and the Chief Postmaster at Wel-
lington, and the Postmasters at Masterton and Featherston,
are hereby appointed to issue and sign the said licenses.

As witness the hand of his Excellency the Governor,
this sixteenth day of March, one thousand eight
hundred and eighty-nine.

Shooting Season for Imported Game, License Fee, &c.,
Grey County.

IN exercise of the powers vested in me by "The Animals
Protection Act, 1880," and the Acts amending the same,
I, James Prendergast, the Administrator of the Government
of the Colony of New Zealand, do hereby notify that hares
may be taken or killed within the Grey District, consisting
of the County of Grey, from the first day of April, one thou-
sand eight hundred and eighty-nine, to the thirty-first day
of July, one thousand eight hundred and eighty-nine, both
inclusive (subject nevertheless to the restrictions in the said
Acts mentioned). And I do further notify that licenses to
take or kill such game within the said district shall be issued
on payment of the sum of twenty shillings each, and that
licenses to sell such game shall be issued on payment of the
sum of five pounds each; and the Chief Postmaster at Grey-
mouth is hereby appointed to issue and sign the said licenses.

As witness the hand of His Excellency the Adminis-
trator of the Government, this twenty-third day of
March, one thousand eight hundred and eighty-
nine.

Regulations for Deer-shooting, Otago.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by
"The Animals Protection Act, 1880," and "The Animals
Protection Act Amendment Act, 1881," His Excellency Sir
James Prendergast, the Administrator of the Government of
the Colony of New Zealand, doth hereby notify that deer
(bucks or stags only) may be shot and killed within the boun-
daries of the Otago Acclimatisation Society's district, sub-
ject to the following regulations, namely:-

REGULATIONS.

  1. Licenses to shoot and kill deer (bucks or stags only) in
    the Otago Acclimatisation Society's district will be issued
    under the hand of the Chief Postmaster, Dunedin, on the
    recommendation of the Secretary to the Otago Acclimatisa-
    tion Society, and for every such license a fee of ยฃ2 sterling
    will be charged.
    The said Chief Postmaster is hereby appointed and autho-
    rised to issue and sign the said licenses.

  2. Every such license shall entitle the person named
    therein to kill bucks or stags only between the days of 1st
    March instant and 30th April proximo.

  3. No hind or fawn will be allowed to be killed on any
    pretext whatever, and no dogs will be allowed to accom-
    pany either the licensee or any attendant he may have with
    him.

  4. The licensee must give notice to the said Chief Post-
    master of the date on which it is his intention to stalk deer;
    such notice to be posted, or delivered, or telegraphed three
    clear days before such date.

  5. Nothing herein contained shall extend to authorising
    any person to sell any deer or portion thereof.

As witness the hand of His Excellency the Adminis-
trator of the Government, this twenty-third day
of March, one thousand eight hundred and eighty-
nine.
