NOTICE is hereby given that EDWARD WATERS, Patent
Agent, of Melbourne, in the Colony of Victoria, has
applied, on behalf of MACLACHLAN BROTHERS AND LEVY, of
No. 228, Elizabeth Street, Melbourne aforesaid, Tobacco and
Cigar Merchants, to register, under "The Trade Marks Act,
1866," the trade mark of which the following is a descrip-
tion:-
Description of Trade Mark.
The device of a woman's hand holding a rose, in combina-
tion with the word "Thisbe."
Nature of the Articles to which it is intended such Trade
Mark shall apply.
Cigars and cigarettes, and manufactured tobacco.

Board, is published in accordance with "The Road
Boards Act, 1882."

SPECIAL ORDER.
RESOLVED, That a special order do be now made rescinding
a special order passed on the 19th December, 1885, "That
this Board will in future make its own valuations of pro-
perties in the Omaka District."
I certify that the above special order has been duly passed
as required by section 75 of "The Road Boards Act, 1882."

Approving and Appointing a Bonding Warehouse.
CUSTOMS. In exercise of the powers in me for this
purpose vested by "The Customs Laws Consolidation
Act, 1882," I, the Commissioner of Trade and Customs, do
hereby approve and appoint the under-mentioned warehouse
to be a warehouse for the reception of goods under bond,
viz.:-
Port of Napier.
A concrete building roofed with iron, situate on Section
No. 522, Waghorn Street, to be known as
NAPIER BOND.
Given under my hand, at Wellington, this twenty-
seventh day of February, one thousand eight
hundred and eighty-nine.

Revocation of Appointment of Bonding Warehouses.
CUSTOMS. In exercise of the authority in me for this
purpose vested, I, the Commissioner of Trade and
Customs, do, by this order under my hand, revoke and annul
the appointment of the under-mentioned warehouses for the
reception and security of goods entered to be warehoused
without payment of duty upon the first entry thereof, viz.:-
Port of Auckland.
The warehouse known as
MACKY'S BOND,
as appointed and described in Commissioner's Order No.
89, of the 1st March, 1876.
The warehouse known as
REID'S BOND,
as appointed and described in Commissioner's Order No.
286, of 11th January, 1888.

as appointed and described in Commissioner's Order No.
189, of 29th August, 1883.
Port of New Plymouth.
The warehouse known as
GOLDWATER'S BOND,
as appointed and described in Commissioner's Order No.

CHANGE IN TIME OF FLASH AT MONTAGUE AND GREEN
CAPE LIGHTHOUSES.
IT is hereby notified for general information that, on and
after the 1st day of May next, the light on Montague Island
will flash every minute and ten seconds, and that at Green
Cape every fifty seconds, in place of each light flashing
every minute as at present.
This alteration in the complete revolution producing the
principal flash will proportionately affect the detailed charac-
teristics of these lights.
