1884."

IT is hereby notified that, in pursuance and exercise of
the power and authority conferred by section 9 of "The
Fisheries Conservation Act, 1884,"
William Beange, of Pokerito,
George William Pogson, of Cotterbrook,
William Ayson, of Linnburn,
John Campbell Mackenzie, of Outram,
Donald Stronach, of Dunedin,

Alfred Anderson, of Dunedin,
Robert Shennan Charteris, of Puketoi,
George Sloan, of Flag Swamp, and
John Burt, of Clinton,
have been appointed Officers for the purposes of that Act
within all that area in the Provincial District of Otago
bounded on the east and south by the ocean, from Shag
Point to the mouth of the Mataura River; on the north-
west by Lake County; on the west and south-west by the
Mataura River; and on the north, north-west, and north-
east by the Counties of Westland and Waitaki.

1884."

IT is hereby notified that, in pursuance and exercise of the
power and authority conferred by section 9 of "The
Fisheries Conservation Act, 1884,"
HENRY DAVIES O'CALLAGHAN,
of Lower Hutt, has been appointed an Officer for the pur-
poses of that Act within the Wellington Acclimatisation
District, which comprises all that area in the Provincial
District of Wellington which lies to the southward of the
following boundary-line, namely: Commencing from the
mouth of the Manawatu River, and following the course of
that river to the Manawatu Gorge; thence in a direct line
from such gorge to the mouth of the Waimata River, on the
East Coast.
