Papatu B Block at a distance of 3109 links or thereabouts from its westernmost angle. Bounded towards the north by a line, 396 links; towards the north-east by a line, 559 links; and towards the south-west by a line, 885 links, to the commencing-point: be all the aforesaid linkages more or less; as the same are delineated on Map No. 4584, deposited in the Survey Office, Auckland.

Given under the hand of His Excellency Sir James Prendergast, Knight, Chief Justice, for and on behalf of His Excellency the Governor, and as his duly-appointed Deputy, in and over Her Majesty’s Colony of New Zealand and its Dependencies; and issued under the Seal of the said Colony, at the Government House, at Wellington, this twenty-first day of January, in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and eighty-eight.

A PROCLAMATION.

IN pursuance and in exercise of all powers and authorities enabling me in this behalf, I, James Prendergast, in the name and on behalf of His Excellency the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, and as his duly-appointed Deputy, do hereby proclaim that the roads described in the Schedule hereto have been duly taken and laid off through the lands specified under warrants of the dates given in the said Schedule.

SCHEDULE.

ALL that parcel of land in the Provincial District of Auckland, containing by admeasurement 17·9 perches, more or less, situate in the Turanganui Survey District, and being a road-line, 100 links wide, traversing a portion of the Awapuni No. 2 Block; commencing at a point on the north-western boundary of the aforesaid block at a distance of 56 links or thereabouts from its northernmost angle, being the middle of the road above referred to; and thence continuing south-easterly parallel to the north-eastern boundary of the aforesaid block for a distance of 112·1 links: be all the aforesaid linkages more or less; as the same is delineated on Map No. 4460, deposited in the Survey Office, Auckland.

All that parcel of land in the Provincial District of Auckland, containing by admeasurement 1 rood 19 perches, more or less, situate in the Turanganui Survey District, and being a road-line, 100 links wide, traversing a portion of the Awapuni Block; commencing at a point on the north-western boundary of the Awapuni No. 2 Block at a distance of 56 links or thereabouts from its northernmost angle, being the middle of the road above referred to; and thence continuing north-westerly parallel to the north-eastern boundary of the Awapuni Block aforesaid for a distance of 369 links or thereabouts to its junction with a road leading to Gisborne: be all the aforesaid linkages more or less; as the same is delineated on Map No. 4460, deposited in the Survey Office, Auckland.

Date of Governor’s warrant, 25th September, 1883.

All that parcel of land in the Provincial District of Auckland, containing by admeasurement 21 acres and 16 perches, more or less, situate in the Whangara, and Turanganui Survey Districts, and being a road-line, 100 links wide and upwards, traversing the Pouawa Nos. 1, 4, and 5 Blocks (Nos. 5522A, 5522D, and 5522C respectively), that portion traversing No. 1 Block containing 9 acres and 23 perches, that portion traversing No. 4 Block containing 9 acres 2 roods 15 perches, and that portion traversing No. 5 Block containing 2 acres 1 rood 18 perches; commencing at a point on the north-western boundary of the Pouawa No. 1 Block at a distance of 34 chains or thereabouts to the south-westward of Station No. 22, being the middle of the road above referred to; and thence continuing easterly and south-easterly for a total distance of 156 chains or thereabouts to a bush road surveyed by Simpson, at a point on the latter 50 chains or thereabouts distant from road-peg No. xlix: be all the aforesaid linkages more or less; as the same is delineated on Map No. 4455, deposited in the Survey Office, Auckland.

All those parcels of land in the Provincial District of Auckland, containing by admeasurement 22 acres 1 rood 17 perches and 1 acre and 23 perches respectively, more or less,
situate in the Waiapu Survey District, and being road-lines, 100 links wide and upwards, traversing Te Herenga and Tahinga-a-Karuai Blocks, that portion of road traversing the latter block containing 8 perches, more or less:—

Road containing 22 acres 1 rood 17 perches, traversing Te Herenga and Tahinga-a-Karuai Blocks: Commencing at a point on the western boundary of the former block at a distance of 250 links or thereabouts to the north-west of the northernmost angle of the latter block, being the middle of the road above referred to; and thence continuing easterly and south-easterly generally for a total distance of 20950 links or thereabouts to the confluence of the Mania and Waiotautu Streams.

Road containing 1 acre and 23 perches: Commencing at a point on the northernmost side of the road above described at a distance of 643 links or thereabouts from the western boundary of Te Herenga Block, being the middle of the road last above referred to; and thence continuing north-easterly along the north-western boundary of a school reserve for a distance of 1143 links.

Be all the aforesaid linkages more or less; as the same are delineated on Maps Nos. 4458 and 4459, deposited in the Survey Office, Auckland.

Date of Governor’s warrant, 24th October, 1884.

All that parcel of land in the Provincial District of Auckland, containing by admeasurement 15 acres 3 roods 17 perches, more or less, situate in the Turanganui Survey District, and being a road-line, 100 links wide, traversing the eastern portion of the Kaiti Block (No. 845); commencing at the junction of roads at the northern extremity of Subdivision No. 278, being the middle of the road above referred to; and thence continuing southerly and south-easterly for a distance of 15877 links or thereabouts to a point on the Hamanatua River opposite to the termination of a road reserve near the mouth of the river aforesaid: be all the aforesaid linkages more or less; as the same is delineated on Map No. 4521, deposited in the Survey Office, Auckland.

All those parcels of land in the Provincial District of Auckland, containing by admeasurement 20 acres and 25 perches and 4 acres and 25 perches respectively, more or less, situate in the Survey District of Turanganui, and
