the office of the Chief Surveyor, Wellington. For road and

containing by admeasurement 36 acres, more or less, being
Section No. 11, Block XIII., Ongo Survey District. Bounded
on the north and north-west by the Rangitikei River; on the
east and south-east by the abuttal of a public road and by

CANTERBURY.
All that parcel of land in the Land District of Canterbury,
containing by admeasurement 19 acres, more or less, being
Section No. 2830 (in red), situate in Block I. of the Geral-
dine Survey District. Bounded towards the north-east by
Section No. 17952; towards the south-east by Section No.
3155; and towards the westward generally by the River
Waihi: as the same is delineated on the plan deposited in
the District Survey Office, Christchurch. For river con-
servation.
All that parcel of land in the Land District of Canterbury,
containing by admeasurement 19 acres, more or less, being
Section No. 2831 (in red), situate in Blocks I. and V. of the
Geraldine Survey District. Bounded towards the north-east
by the River Hae-hae-te-moana; and towards the south-west
generally by Sections Nos. 22156, 17552, and 20335: as the
same is delineated on the plan deposited in the District
Survey Office, Christchurch. For river conservation.
All that parcel of land in the Land District of Canterbury,
containing by admeasurement 120 acres, more or less, being
Section No. 2833 (in red), situate in Block VII., Orari Sur-
vey District, and Block XI., Geraldine Survey District.
Bounded towards the westward by Section No. 26480, by
Crown lands, also by Sections Nos. 27570, 23491, 21697, 21401,
and 22154; towards the eastward by the River Orari; and
towards the north-west by Lawlor’s Road: as the same is
delineated on the plan deposited in the District Survey Office,
Christchurch. For river conservation.
All that parcel of land in the Land District of Canterbury,
containing by admeasurement 105 acres, more or less, being
Section No. 2834 (in red), situate in Block V., Geraldine
Survey District. Bounded towards the westward by the
terrace forming the boundaries of Sections Nos. 10301, 10397,
34942, and 17313; towards the eastward by the River Hae-
hae-te-moana; and towards the north-west by a road: save
and excepting thereout Section No. 20973 and a road-line
which are included within the above-described boundaries;
as the same is delineated on the plans deposited in the Dis-
trict Survey Office, Christchurch. For river conservation.
SOUTHLAND.
All that peninsula of land in the Land District of South-
land and in the New River Hundred, comprising 5,600 acres,
more or less. Bounded on the north by Block XV., New
River Hundred, 155 chains or thereby; on the east and
south by the New River and the New River Estuary; and
on the west by Foveaux Strait: save and excepting from
the above-described area Section No. 82, New River Hun-
dred, and Sections Nos. 1, 2, 3, and 4, Block XXIII., same
hundred; excepting also the belt of land lying between the
front of said sections and the New River and estuary. For
recreation.
WESTLAND.
All that parcel of land in the Land District of Westland,
containing by admeasurement 86 acres, more or less, being
Reserve No. 288 (in red), Block VII., Waimea Survey District.
Bounded on the north by Section No. 2002, 560 links; on the
east by Crown lands, 17070 links; on the south by Education
Endowment Reserve No. 129, 320 links; and on the west by
Railway Reserve No. 7 1750 links, and Crown lands 15970
links: be all the aforesaid linkages more or less; as the
same is delineated on the plan deposited in the office of the
Chief Surveyor, Hokitika. For railway purposes.
NOTE.—This reservation will supersede that of Reserve
No. 282 (in red), published in Gazettes of the 18th September,
1888, page 974, and 25th October, 1888, page 1130.
All that parcel of land in the Land District of Westland,
containing by admeasurement 1 acre and 14 perches, more
or less, being Reserve No. 280 (in red), Block XII., Grey-
mouth Survey District. Bounded on the north-west by High
Street, 200 links; on the north-east by a line parallel with
Franklin Street, 422 links; on the east by Sawyer’s Creek,
310 links; and on the south-west by Franklin Street, 432
links: be all the aforesaid linkages more or less; as the same
is delineated on the plan deposited in the office of the Chief
Surveyor, Hokitika. For a site for a land and survey
office.
NOTE.—This reservation will supersede the reservation of
Reserve No. 93, published in Gazette of the 18th October,
1872, page 774.
All that parcel of land in the Land District of Westland,
containing by admeasurement 1 acre and 14 perches, more
or less, being Reserve No. 281 (in red), Block XII., Grey-
mouth Survey District. Bounded on the north-west by High
Street, 607 links; on the east by Sawyer’s Creek, 750
links; and on the south-west by Reserve No. 280, 422
links: be all the aforesaid linkages more or less; as the same
is delineated on the plan deposited in the office of the Chief
Surveyor, Hokitika. For a site for a high school.
NOTE.—This reservation will supersede the reservation of
Reserve No. 93, published in Gazette of the 18th October,
1872, page 774.
